There is a vegetable garden and some sheep, where in the morning and at the end of the day a person comes in to treat them.

The Herdade de São Martinho is part of one of the oldest mountains in the region and is located in the municipality of Avis. The Monte belonged to the ancient Order of the Templars and later to the Religious Order of Avis.
