An atmospheric suite with a free entrance, where the hayloft was once of this 1878 farmhouse. The guesthouse has one bedroom with a double bed, a seat and a beautiful view of the garden and the surrounding greenery. Onze B&B is begin 2025 geheel verbouwd. De knusse ruimte is zeer geschikt voor romantische rustzoekers. Je verblijft op een rustige plek, omgeven door bomen, dicht bij het centrum van het mooie Gorinchem. Onze lokatie is een goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie fietstochten en wandelingen. In Gorinchem en omliggende dorpen is er veel historisch erfgoed te bewonderen. In hartje Gorinchem zijn een aantal leuke mogelijkheden voor ontbijt. Wil je liever in de B&B ontbijten? Vraag naar de mogelijkheden.

Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Wellness Lodge with private sauna and jacuzzi

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.

Jullie kunnen samen genieten van de privé sauna, -regen/stoom douche en -ligbad of heerlijk languit op de bank een film of serie te kijken! Ook kun je kiezen uit vele dagjes uit bij ons in de omgeving. Kortom alles binnen handbereik voor een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Ons gezellige Tiny house ligt direct naast het huis en is geschikt voor 1 tot 3 personen en ideaal voor zowel kort verblijf als een ontspannen weekje weg. Via de vlizotrap bereik je de slaapvide met tweepersoonsbed. Beneden is een slaapbank aanwezig voor een extra slaapplaats. De kitchenette bied je de mogelijkheid om eenvoudige maaltijden te bereiden. Het tinyhouse ligt aan een mooie tuin met kippen, schaapjes en een vijver. Fijn om tot rust te komen.

Onze Woodbarn bevindt zich op 10 minuten loopafstand van het authentieke vesting stadje, het strandje en van mooie wandelpaden waar vrij wandelen mogelijk is tussen de paarden en stieren. Er is een grote supermarkt op 5 minuten afstand met de auto en u vindt hier ook meerdere winkeltjes en terrasjes. U hebt hier uw privé woning met alles erop en eraan. Ondanks dat het huisje in de tuin van de hoofdwoning staat, garanderen wij u volledige privacy.

Everything has been thought of for a comfortable stay. A place where you can immediately unwind and feel right at home.
