The place has a fantastic view of Gjessøya, Mærdø, Havsøysund and Galtesund. In the evening you can see the light from Torungen lighthouse from the bed. There is a private jetty with a bathing ladder and plenty of room for many boats. The boathouse is well equipped, with both rowing boat, two kayaks, fishing gear, life jackets, etc. Pioneer 14 with 20 hp (2019 model) can be rented together with the cabin if desired.

Towels and bed linen are included. You do the cleaning yourself, but it can be ordered for an additional fee of NOK 400. The place is expected to be left clean and tidy, unless cleaning has been ordered as an extra. We have set check-in at 5 pm due to work situation, but you are welcome to ask if you want to check in earlier. 300m to store and bus. The bus runs approx. every 30 min to Arendal/Grimstad/Kristiansand 2km to beautiful Buøya with several beautiful beaches. Shared entrance and hallway, private lockable door.

Our cabin is idyllically located in the middle of Raet National Park, all for itself with spectacular views of the sea. Here you can enjoy walks, swimming areas and waves, even on stormy days. The cottage is newly renovated with a Sigdal kitchen, new porch, awning, Weber grill, fire pan, and outdoor fireplace. Sleeping space for 6. Rowboat also belongs to the cabin, but you should be several to lift it out. The cabin is perfect for quiet days or adventures in ocean gap and nature

The place is suitable for two people, with the possibility of two extra beds on the sofa bed in the living room (1.40). The city park with bathing jetty, volleyball and skateboard track is nearby. Bakery, seafood and grocery store are nearby. It is about an 8 min walk along the jetty to many tempting outdoor restaurants in Arendal city center.

Good bus connections to both Grimstad and Arendal. Kristiansand Zoo is only 35 minutes away by car.
