Regina’s place is better than the photos! As soon as we walked up the stairs, we were very happy with the space, the beautiful view and the large comfy bed. On top of that, she was very easy to communicate with. The location couldn’t be better!

We loved our stay at Claudia’s! The views were excellent. The amenities were perfect, and it was very walkable! The hill to the apartment was a little steep, but doable and well worth the walk so beautiful! We were traveling with only backpacks so that helped getting big suitcases up the hill might be a challenge for some. Thank you, Claudia for having such a beautiful home for us to stay in.

I absolutely loved my stay at Liliana’s! The apartment is in a fantastic location right in the center of everything but still very quiet. Everything was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Liliana and her husband gave me excellent recommendations of things to do and places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!

Antonio’s apartment is in a fantastic location, just up from the waterfront. It is in the heart of everything yet very peaceful and quiet at night. We loved leaning out the window to watch the street below. It’s an easy walk from the apartment to the historical centre across the bridge and there is also the option of a water taxi. The apartment had a very well equipped kitchen, was spacious and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

If you are contemplating whether or not to book this property, book it. Book it now. Not only was the property beautiful, impeccably clean and centrally located, the hosts were absolutely incredible. From the moment I booked my stay, the hosts proactively checked in to make sure we would have the most enjoyable experience possible. Their response time was always fast and they were nothing but friendly at all times. No request was too much. They went as far as to go out and purchase us a brand new drying rack in real time, simply because the existing one had minor wear and tear. They are simply amazing hosts. As for the property, it was not only architecturally stunning, but it was fully stocked with everything one would need for an extended stay (including baby items). The property is also located literally steps away from clothing stores, coffee shops, bakeries, Michelin restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers and the famous Mercado do Bolhão. . 10/10 would recommend.

Loved our stay at the Airbnb, it was very peaceful and quiet. Whenever, we went into the city, it was always refreshing to come back to serenity given the bustling nature of the city. The location is about a 16 mins ride to the center and 12 mins to the beach area (use bolt, it’s cheaper in Porto). Hugo was so accommodating and hospitable, we are so grateful as he made our trip better!. Upon arrival at the Airbnb, he had been waiting over 3 hours for us because there was a delay at security in the airport due to being short-staffed. He drove us to the super-market nearby, Continente, to buy groceries and gave us local recommendations one of which was Magina’s which was about a 10 mins walk from the Airbnb. We tried it and we quite liked it, mixed opinions on certain items, the steak burger was good. The Airbnb was clean, tidy and just as described with condiments. Each room had its own air-con, a plus for the bathrooms given how clean they were. Will highly recommend this Airbnb!

It seems impossible to write something new about Maria and her wonderful place at the Douro River that has not been already commented and praised by previous guests. The 5-star review rating for Casa do Rio is very well earned: it is a piece of heaven, tucked away in the Douro Valley and Maria - and not to forget her husband, Jose (who does not get enough praise in other reviews) - are exceptional hosts. We stayed for 3 weeks, with a number of our friends coming to visit us for shorter stays. Maria accommodate all of our changing check-in and check-out needs without a glitch. We enjoyed taking advantage of the many activities and entertainment options - including massages by Hugo (a master of his craft) that the location provides. One thing to be aware of: There is no shopping option and limited restaurant choices available in walking distance, hence a car is almost a necessity for a longer stay.

The house is gorgeous and very well located. The garden overlooks the Douro river. Perfect to watch the sunset! Marcos and Madalena were very friendly and responsive. The house is a few minutes walk to shops and a lovely bakery for breakfast. We highly recommend the stay.

Patricia has always been available to exchange while being pleasant. The apartment was recovered clean and in very good condition. It's very good, but be careful on the stairs :) The neighborhood is a little out of the way but quiet and safe. Thank you Patricia for this stay!

Maria greeted us and had cheese and cold beverages and a few other amenities in the fridge , we were able to get some great information she was very friendly and helpful . The views were fantastic exactly like the photo’s . Went to the Espinho market on Monday it was huge great deals and something for everyone was easy to get there . Plenty of walkways all along the ocean you can walk for miles . The train station is very close that you can take to Porto just FYI if you do take the train to Sao Bento Porto which is the downtown you have to change to Train 2 at the main station. This area is easy to get around and parking was close and free. Would love to come back to this area to explore some more .

The stay was great and we felt at home because nothing was missing. Communication was quick and efficient and Jorge is very kind. The courtyard is beautiful and makes you feel like you're in the countryside. The house was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was hardly any noise. We had a great rest. To repeat.

Maria’s place is a quintessential old Portuguese home with lots of lovely personal touches and history. It is very comfortable and the Garden is amazing. The house is only one street back from the beach. It is also very close to the railway station for easy access to Porto. There is a little bit of noise from trains but it didn’t bother us. We found Porto to be quite noisy and overcrowded and so it was always a relief to return home to this beautiful place. It is only a few minutes walk to the American club for a drink and a fabulous monster sandwich which I recommend. Maria brought us a wonderful crème caramel flan on our last evening which was the most delicious crème caramel I have ever tasted! Thank you again Maria.

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Home Essences. We found it even better than the pictures indicated. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and a toddler with everyone having their own private space and bathroom. The set up was perfect. We found it clean and well stocked and would not hesitate to return if given the chance. Joana was an excellent host - very helpful and responsive!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

We spent 4 very pleasant days in the apartment, which is very well located in the center of Matosinhos and has all kinds of businesses nearby (also the beach!). It's great for a couple or a single person. And Fernando, the host, will give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and will be on hand to resolve any issues that will make your trip even more enjoyable. In short, a great experience!

...EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT... We chose this accommodation based on the comments: ALL the reviews are positive. The apartment is currently being renovated and we have been given the one downstairs, which is similar but with a large terrace. The apartment is still new, comfortable and very clean. From 22 to 29 May, with my wife and son, we stayed in this apartment equipped with every comfort, all the appliances in the kitchen and bathroom are new. All linen, bed and bath, was available and perfect. Comfortable and large double bed In addition, the house has perfect and fast Wi-Fi and two new air conditioners The accommodation is located near Campanha, in a quiet area and the condominium is very quiet. David was kind and helpful by answering our questions immediately A stay to be repeated for sure... Highly recommended. Thank you for everything First time on Airbnb and everything was fantastic...I found David!!!

Great apartment and interior design with perfect location.

We spent 3 very nice nights in Sousas apartment. The location is very easy to reach on foot, in the immediate vicinity of the Trindade metro hub. A large selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, many hotspots within easy walking distance. The apartment was very clean and functional, just as described. Communication with Sousa is also very easy and fast. We can definitely recommend the place.
