We had a wonderful time in Márcia’s apartment. The view of the cathedral was a daily highlight. The kitchen was fully equipped and left nothing to be desired — coffee capsules and tea were also already provided. One day, we had a minor renovation-related incident — a small thing broke — but it was no problem at all! 🤩 Márcia was not only immediately reachable, but had everything repaired and our apartment cleaned the very same day. And the cherry on top: a complimentary glass of port wine and some chocolate. Thank you, Márcia, for this fantastic stay and for the great guide you provided with restaurant tips! Ana's home is away from the city center, but easily accessible by Metro. She was very helpful and gave great recommendations. The apt is HUGE...very spacious, and has stunning views. There is a GREAT Indian restaurant downstairs. We would definitely stay there again.

Brilliant stay. The host was genuinely one of the most helpful we’ve had — gave a great intro, sorted us out with local tips, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The apartment itself was perfect for our trip, and the location is unreal. We could walk everywhere. Highly recommend.

Great to be so hear the ribeira. Good value for money. Initially a little hard to open exterior door but problem resolved promptly. Miguel excellent in his communication with us. Excellent advice with things to do, map, and suggestions for dining out- which we followed. Thankyou Miguel.

This spot was in a central place and Sandra was proactive to get check-in instructions to me. This allowed for easy late check-in and there was a lil welcome snack which was nice after a long travel day. It very much has feels of a hotel room-- private room with small kitchen amenities, but it was exactly what i wanted. The balcony was cute to have especially because its over a bustling lil street. Really enjoyed this spot, was perfect for popping in and out of while exploring Porto.

Great place in Porto! Our host Victor was amazing. He was super friendly and was at the apartment to welcome us. He made us feel right at home. Provided us with great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. Victor also let us check in early which is super appreciated as we were able to make the best of our day we reached Porto as we had limited days in Porto. They also relaxed the check out requirement to take the trash out as we were checking at super early in the morning. We loved our experience staying at this Air B&B and looking forward to going back 😊

We had a great time here! The space is small but very clean, cute and has everything you need. The balcony was great and we enjoyed several mornings sipping coffee outside. Daniel was very communicative, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Location was also perfect and in walking distance of the Ribeira!

Cristina and her husband Joaquin met us at the apartment and welcomed us like family. Cristina's personal touches, fresh flowered from her garden, robes, slippers and her warm and welcoming energy were just lovely. Joaquin gave us an incredible rundown on the map of the area. Cristina checked in with us regularly and made us feel like we had family nearby. The apartment is quite spacious. highly recommend.

It seems impossible to write something new about Maria and her wonderful place at the Douro River that has not been already commented and praised by previous guests. The 5-star review rating for Casa do Rio is very well earned: it is a piece of heaven, tucked away in the Douro Valley and Maria - and not to forget her husband, Jose (who does not get enough praise in other reviews) - are exceptional hosts. We stayed for 3 weeks, with a number of our friends coming to visit us for shorter stays. Maria accommodate all of our changing check-in and check-out needs without a glitch. We enjoyed taking advantage of the many activities and entertainment options - including massages by Hugo (a master of his craft) that the location provides. One thing to be aware of: There is no shopping option and limited restaurant choices available in walking distance, hence a car is almost a necessity for a longer stay.

Clara was an excellent hostess who greeted us with fig cake and port wine. She offered bottles of wine (nominal charge because good wine is inexpensive in Porto, Portugal) available for purchase. She offered a tour of the accommodations, providing instructions where necessary, but kept it to a minimum. We booked an airbnb experience Douro Valley tour through Clara .... it was wonderful and highly recommended. Keep-in-mind, of the three airbnb's we stayed-in through-out Portugal only one had dryer. Washing machine at Clara's was downstairs, outside but in a shed area, and she had a line drying feature. The ensuite is a bit tight, but nothing that can not be lived with with for a brief stay and all the decor is charming.

Beautiful location in a quiet area. Nice view from the balcony. The decor was also very nice, ideal for a holiday feeling but also to feel at home. Paula was always available and responded quickly. Very friendly people.

A true piece of paradise! 🌿✨ From the first moment, we feel welcomed as if we were at home — but with the charm of a heavenly retreat. Diogo was an exemplary host: always available, attentive and genuinely concerned with our well-being. Your kindness made the experience even more special. The space is simply stunning, perfect for resting the mind and recharging the soul. And as if the surrounding nature and tranquility of the place were not enough, we had charming visitors: adorable kittens that appeared unexpectedly and immediately won our hearts. They were a sweet and loving asset, which gave even more life to our stay. We recommend it with our eyes closed — and with a full heart.

Our family (4&3 yo) had a lovely stay. The space is large for the kids to play. It is a space which allows play time and games with no TV, something of a blessing. The bedrooms are close by to each other but provide privacy so not to disturb each other. The hosts are wonderful, we arrived late but José still took the time to greet us and provide essentials to save us having to go shopping. Our kids really enjoyed their time with José and his home.

Maria greeted us and had cheese and cold beverages and a few other amenities in the fridge , we were able to get some great information she was very friendly and helpful . The views were fantastic exactly like the photo’s . Went to the Espinho market on Monday it was huge great deals and something for everyone was easy to get there . Plenty of walkways all along the ocean you can walk for miles . The train station is very close that you can take to Porto just FYI if you do take the train to Sao Bento Porto which is the downtown you have to change to Train 2 at the main station. This area is easy to get around and parking was close and free. Would love to come back to this area to explore some more .

a really great place to stay, the design is well considered with window shutters that block any noise and air con that works quietly. we had a great stay.

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

I booked this accommodation because the view of the Douro River was so beautiful, and I was very satisfied! I kept walking because it was downtown just across the bridge, but it was okay. It was nice because the house was spacious for the price and there were all the cooking utensils:)

Antonio's apartment is well equipped. We found everything we needed. We were warmly welcomed, although we arrived very late in the evening. Antonio is a great host who also gave us some good recommendations. The location is great for beautiful excursions to Porto, Aveiro, the Douro Valley... We felt very comfortable.

This apartment is spectacular!! It has the feel of a luxury San Francisco penthouse apartment. We could listen to the waves at night. Multiple restaurants are within a 2 block area! While It's not technically IN Porto, it's a very inexpensive Uber ride away...and we saw a lot of the city that way without having to walk! The platform bed setup as one solid bed was a bit challenging for an older couple, but overall, the apartment made it worth the challenge! We'd definitely stay there again!
