I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

Amazing property and view. We had a terrific time. The property worked great for our group. Best sunset! Marco and his crew were extremely responsive. Driving in the Douro Valley is not for the faint of heart. We had a ball!

A great location in the countryside 45 minutes from Porto and 2 hours from Pinhão. Beautiful scenery , hiking around. Home is on a hill with amazing views of the Douro River. Beautiful outdoor space with outdoor kitchen and a small pool. Excellent for family vacation.

A fantastic house and garden; peaceful and beautiful. Nuno kindly met us at the train station and supplied much helpful information. The location allowed easy access to both the city and the beaches, and buses were frequent. We enjoyed a great week of holiday and recommend Nunos place highly.

From the moment we arrived , Alexandra welcomed our family and made us at home. The establishment is incredibly designed, unbelievable views and smells of fresh flowers. We had an absolutely incredible stay! The house is even better than the pictures, and our host could not have been more wonderful, flexible, accommodating and welcoming. A few highlights that aren’t immediately obvious: fresh bread delivery every morning, kitchen is wonderful and very easy to cook in, charcoal grill outside is fantastic - and lovely for grilling fresh fish in! (ask if fish is available from the local fish monger!). You can also easily do a day trip into Porto from this hidden paradise. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ricardo and his father Mario, or this amazing villa!

Had a great time in Marie’s place. She welcomed us really well sharing local places we could go to to shop or eat, and recommendation for Porto. Very easy to check in and flexible which was great. The house is very big with all amenities, and a very nice area by the swimming pool. Thanks again !

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

We spent a weekend at Artur's house with my family and the experience was wonderful, his house is ideal, the area is very quiet, you can easily get there and the location is magnificent if the idea is to visit Porto, it is 10 minutes away by car. Communication with Artur was great, he was very attentive and his recommendations were very accurate. We'll be back!!!

I absolutely loved the stay here. It really felt like home. Everything was super clean like brand new. Staffs responded me very quick and everything went smooth. This was my first time I felt that all the amenities are prepared, and all were good quality.

From the moment we made contact, our hosts made us feel truly welcome. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and warm hospitality turned our first trip to Portugal into a very special experience. The accommodation was exactly as described — a charming, traditional home set on a vast plot of beautiful land. It felt incredibly secure with two gates, and the setting allows you to enjoy complete privacy or connect with the hosts and animals as much as you like. It really does cater to what you need as a family. The house had everything we needed for cooking, and the thoughtful touch of a few essentials in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Our children especially loved meeting the animals and being shown around the grounds — it was such a unique and memorable part of the holiday for them.

The apartment is as it is described, neat and spacious. The location near the sea was wonderful and in addition it was also easily accessible by metro (10 minutes walk) with which you could reach the center of Porto (in 50 minutes) completely perfect for us.

Leonor was so sweet like texting me whole time while we needed to check-in really late. But she sent her husband give us the key. The room was bigger than from picture! Only 1 night but worthful! She also recommended us bakery in the near in the morning. So cute! I will recommend this place!

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.
