Holiday rentals with lake access in Arcozelo

This is our best stop on a trip to Portugal. The house has everything you need, it's just nice to be inside. We were still in the moment when the electricity and communication went missing in Portugal - so the hostess and her family showed unreal care - and they brought candles, and the grill was lit and offered food - well, we never had such a cool "apocalypse"! I definitely recommend!

Excellent stay. The house exceeded expectations, beautiful and very neat. It smelled very well. In addition, the site was extremely calm and with a lot of privacy. They were very attentive, always ready to help. We had a small situation that we eventually managed to solve ourselves, however they were attentive to the point of leaving a basket with breakfast at our door for the inconvenience we had. I recommend it 100% and we will definitely be back there.

Peaceful and clean place with a unique location.

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. I so enjoyed my stay in this stunning stone house built by the host's direct relatives! I was truly charmed by the soft tinkling of goats' bells in the pasture, the adorable village dog known and loved by all, a private porch, a crackling fire on a chilly night. This village and it's people are really special, experimenting with organic farming and regularly offering multi-generational events. I was even invited to a village party that included impromptu music, singing and dancing. Self-taught musicians played accordians, guitars and ukuleles while their neighbors & relatives danced. If I moved to Portugal (I wish I could!) I would want to vacation here for a month every year. It's a perfect spot for a writer's retreat, quiet reflection or uninterrupted time together as a couple. The kitchen is a fully functional kitchen, with all the pots, pans, implements and appliances you could possibly need to prepare and serve a meal for 10 (even an immersion blender!)

excellent stay, only issue was with sleeping as the double bed mattress had plastic wrapping which can be noisy. no washing machine. Definitely would stay again.

We had a lovely stay with our 2 six-year-old children. The pool is suitable for toddlers. Peaceful and neat place. Very nice experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mónica’s place was amazing- looking over the river and right next to a river beach, with the use of the spa, a barbecue and a kayak as well! The place was so lovely and gave us the rest we needed. Mónica was a great host and she was really helpful and welcoming. Thanks 😊

I loved the very quiet place,for peeling is wonderful ,and the views of the apartment is very beautiful to wake up in the morning and have that view over the pool and the river I recommend

Cecilia's apartment is spacious and comfortable with all amenities you would need for your stay. It is situated in a quiet area but with cafes and restaurants within walking distance, also with the Cristal gardens 5 minutes away.

A stunning apartment with a magical view of Porto and the ocean. Clean and spacious. There’s internet and streaming services on the TV for the child. Within a 10–30 minute walk in either direction along the beach, there are places with delicious food. There is some construction nearby, but the apartment itself is relatively quiet. There were a couple of minor issues, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. We’d gladly come back if we have the chance.

We had a great stay! There are lovely views from the apartment and you are close to everything without the area feeling too busy. We felt very relaxed and Luisa & Jose Luis were very helpful and thoughtful hosts.

Our stay at Sónia’s apartment was absolutely perfect — a 10/10 experience! The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, calm, and ideally located in the heart of Porto. Every time we walked in, it smelled amazing — a small detail that made a big difference and made us feel right at home. Sónia was kind, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our stay. You can really feel that she puts care and attention into every detail. Her instructions were clear, and the apartment had everything we needed for a lovely stay. As shown in the photos, the interior of the accommodation was so tidy and pleasant to stay in. When you go out of the accommodation, Taylor Winery is located right in front of you. It is in the best location with the Doru River.

This is an exceptional Airbnb. Fernando is a welcoming host and an interesting man to talk to. The house is spacious, generous and peaceful. It is also beautiful, with character, and perfect spots for every season. The sitting room must be lovely in winter. The walks in the nature reserve were lovely! You won’t want to leave.

I had a wonderful stay in this cozy stone house. The atmosphere is super quiet, ideal for those looking for rest in the midst of nature, and the house was impeccably clean and well-equipped. The hostess Célia was extremely friendly and attentive, received us with great cordiality and shared great tips for tours around the region. In addition, it was always available for any support we needed. I highly recommend and would definitely return!

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

Ideal place to spend a weekend with family and friends.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.

This is the second time we visit this paradise! it's so beautiful there, the lake in front of the house, the forest behind the house. So much peace there. If you need some time to relax or enjoy peaceful moments with your family or friends, this is the place for you!

We loved our stay so much that we didn’t use our car to go anywhere. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the river and walking to the village. We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sound of the river and we wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you Júlio and Patricia for being such thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

Paulo really has a very cozy stay with great views and a prime location. Our stay was very good, it is a perfect house to spend a few relaxing days between friends and family with very good access to an area that is really worth visiting.
