Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Arcozelo

We really enjoyed the spectacular views, the amazing terrace and the fun pool. BBQ area was a real plus and all the amenities were adequate for our party of six. Joao was a very friendly and responsive host. The main bedroom was large but the other bedrooms and communal areas were small with limited soundproofing. The location was beautifully private but the noises from the town and river could be loud.

We loved our stay, thanks again to Jorge. Everything was perfect, a haven of peace. We wanted a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what this house offers. The horses are a real plus, it was a pleasure to see them every day. The setting is beautiful and the house is very well equipped, we didn't miss anything. We'll be back as soon as we can!

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing. Historic and cozy charm with modern amenities. We had so much fun with the soccer field, the pool, the pool table, hammock, and exploring the grounds. We picked lemons off the tree and made lemonade and a lemon dessert! We soo enjoyed meals at the big outdoor tables- wonderful to accommodate our large group of 7. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a treat!! We enjoyed walking into town and visiting the butcher, bakery, fish market and such. It’s a 25-minute walk through lovely hills, though there is not a sidewalk and the traffic was difficult to navigate at times, but we also drove to town. Sitting outside with morning coffee overlooking the valley was one of my favorite parts! My daughter and fiancé stayed in the detached cottage and found it to be so cozy and comfortable. Lastly, Isabel was very accommodating with some last minute changes, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our family (4&3 yo) had a lovely stay. The space is large for the kids to play. It is a space which allows play time and games with no TV, something of a blessing. The bedrooms are close by to each other but provide privacy so not to disturb each other. The hosts are wonderful, we arrived late but José still took the time to greet us and provide essentials to save us having to go shopping. Our kids really enjoyed their time with José and his home.

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

Very beautiful villa, the exterior with its multiple terraces and swimming pool is a real haven of peace. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There are all the amenities (washing machine, iron, dolce gusto, etc.) for a very good stay. In addition, Ema and her teams are very welcoming. The only point of vigilance is that it is necessary to be transported because the villa is quite isolated. In short, I recommend it! 😊

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

There were three of us sharing the property and it was so nice that I almost wanted to move in permanently! Nice terrace and very tasteful decor in quiet area. It was a short taxi ride from the airport, good proximity to the grocery store and a very nice pastry shop. Great choice if you like to stay a little secluded from the most visited tourist trails and discover different areas. We walked almost everywhere with the exception of some cheap taxi rides. 10/10 residents :)

We had a great time at Fernandes place. The apartment was very comfortable with a big terrace in the sun. And the location is marvelous once you get used to the steep climbs by car... But most of all, Fernández was a very attentfull and friendly host...

The apartment was spotlessly clean, with modern and newly furnished interiors. The location was excellent — close to everything, and there was a great supermarket just around the corner. The internet was super fast, which was a big plus. It would have been even better with an elevator, but hey, you’re in the land of hills after all! :) All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Felt like living in the middle of Porto. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Nice apartment and very at home feel. We were there when Portugal won euro finals so very noisy from the bars outside, but thats to be expected! Lovely apartment

The apartment is beautiful, beautiful view, well decorated, clean, with all household utensils, impeccable bed linen, it was well worth staying there.

We had a very nice and pleasent stay. Rui is a good host who quickly solved any issues that rose. Respones promptly. The apartment was beautiful, clean and very well located. The only downside - street noise can be a bit disturbing for light sleepers.

Lovely property which was quiet and secluded. Facilities and aircon excellent also. If I have any criticism there could have been better communication re fixtures and appliances, bins, recycling, etc. The instruction to access the keys was excellent though not all of us are familiar with electronic gates! The water pressure is not great for showering despite taking it in turns and the toaster tripped the fuse to the whole kitchen on arrival which was interesting trying to find the fuse board to put it right though Rodrigo did respond to our call quickly. On balance a lovely place and would consider visiting again.

We were invited to a wedding at the Quinta Solar da Levado in Amares, Cidalia's house is quite close (8 min) which is rather appreciable in case of fatigue. The house is very, very large and clean on a double level. A beautiful vegetable/flower garden is a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather. Cidalia is very responsive and gives very clear instructions. As a traveller, just remember to take cash to pay the municipal tax.

Fantastic stay at Ricardo's villa! Beautiful pool and villa setup in an incredibly secluded part of the countryside. We went as a group of eight in our late twenties - we didn't have a car so Ricardo organised a taxi for us to get around that was incredibly helpful, including to get down into the village to visit the INCREDIBLE Tasquinha do Tio Miguel! We will be back! Xxx

Had a great time in Marie’s place. She welcomed us really well sharing local places we could go to to shop or eat, and recommendation for Porto. Very easy to check in and flexible which was great. The house is very big with all amenities, and a very nice area by the swimming pool. Thanks again !

We love and hope to repeat our stay at Toorgo House in the future! Both Mr. Manuel and his son Pedro were extremely helpful and attentive throughout the process and stay. Always very available to help us both at check-in and check-out, they even sent a list of recommendations for the area! The house is even better live! Super clean and decorated with care and quality. We really feel at home! Mr. Manuel's family was also kind enough to welcome us with a delicious birthday cake, a gesture much appreciated by all (and especially by the birthday girl!). The entire property is very well cared for, including the garden! The area is nice and easy to access with amenities nearby! I dare say it was one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in as a family! We highly recommend it!

We spent 10 days in the country house and had such a lovely stay. Vania made us feel welcome and provided us with all we needed for our baby. The house is charming, authentic yet clean and equipped with all you need. The location has a lot to offer on a day trip and transport to Porto and the airport is easy. This experience is beyond what can be expected from the average Airbnb, have already recommended to friends and family and we hope to come back :-)

Great, I can say without fear of making a mistake, it's the best place we've ever been to. The house is spectacular, everything is designed to enjoy and to relax and you get it. The pool, whirlpool, ponds and their frogs, billiards, soccer field, etc and all the magical corners of this house. Inside is also great and very comfortable, you can miss some more bathroom in some of the rooms but otherwise it's all fantastic. The host is attentive when you need it but leaves you with the necessary intimacy. In short, a really fantastic experience.
