Beautiful cottage in stunning village with loads to do in the surrounding area. The property was very comfortable, had everything we needed and is decorated beautifully to a high standard

The house is peaceful and beautiful but a tad expensive. Great position on Sinnington’s walking trail. However, unless one manages the upstairs roof skylight blinds the bedroom got quite hot and even when you did it was still very warm. Probably needs a way to let fresh air in. Also we thought the host could have made personal contact with us - we tried several times to no avail however, the hosts email comms were always quick and freely gave great advice. We were proactively well supplied with helpful walking information which we were very grateful. This sounds a bit negative but overall we enjoyed staying there. Suggest a whats app number would be good for overseas travellers who usually only have that means available to make immediate contact possible.

Where do we start? Moos Cottage is honestly the most delightful and lovely place we’ve ever stayed using Airbnb, both in the UK and abroad. Not one thing was out of place, and Julie had thought of everything. We arrived to a pristine cottage and grounds, and every amenity we could think of, even down to little dog biscuits, handmade cookies and milk and butter in the fridge. Every time we thought we needed something, we opened a drawer or checked a shelf and it was there, so beautifully presented! Our dog, Ivy, loved the yard and the dog blankets and towels were so thoughtful. We would fully recommend staying here for a quiet and peaceful getaway, but we also loved that Whitby was a 30 minute, wonderfully scenic drive away. The local pub, the Coach House was recommended and the pie is indeed legendary! We will certainly be back to stay at our next opportunity and look forward to it! It is clear this home is looked after with so much care and attention. Absolutely well done! 👏🏻

Lovely place in beautiful quiet Sinnington. Gorgeous views along the river (nice to sit on the terrace with a drink in the evening), and lots of lovely walks nearby. The pub in town is lovely, and the nearby riding school has great hacking. Kirkbymoorside has a supermarket and garage (about 2 miles away) and everything North Yorkshire has to offer is within easy driving distance. Jonathan is a great host - super responsive - and the house was spot on. We had everything we needed for a family of two adults and two teenagers (included the ever helpful second loo and washing machine!). All in all highly recommended.
