Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. It is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater to group travel, family travel and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free shuttle service is available to Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within a 2-hour one-way limit.For 5 or more people, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult with us in advance. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Our private kura (Japanese storehouse), next to our family home, was renovated into a guesthouse in 2018. Enjoy the unique experience of staying in a real farmer's kura with the entire building all to yourselves. Our apple orchard is about a 5-minute walk away. During the apple season (late August to mid-November), you're welcome to enjoy complimentary apple picking.
