Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Anchorage

This was a GREAT spot to stay in Anchorage. Liz was very responsive, and location was walkable to some yummy local spots. The airbnb was very clean and comfortable--the accomnodations more than met our needs! We wished we were staying a few more days in Anchorage. We would absolutely stay here again!

We would definitely stay at Ryan's house again. Good location making it easy to get to town and attractions. House is on a quiet street with hardly and noise. Beds were comfortable and the house is well equipped.

This house was exactly what we needed after 17 days of traveling thru Alaska!!! it felt like visiting a relative, everything we needed was there, beds and blackout curtains were perfect for some much needed rest! It was just so comfortable and welcoming. The toys were an absolute hit with our kiddo and we got to enjoy the back yard multiple times. The location was phenomenal!!! So close to downtown Anchorage and just as close to turnagain arm, which is a breathtaking drive. Our only regret was not booking this place straight from our cruise end and using it for our homebase for a week while adventuring during the day! Anchorage really showed off for us the last day with a beautifully sunny day, we got to walk down to the inlet view and enjoy a peaceful moment there before packing up and heading to the airport. Would absolutely recommend this place and would even book it again if we are ever fortune enough to be in the area again. The host was great with communication and accommodating

Kate's place was a described. it was perfect for our small family and felt so much like home! the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could ask for and more! The only thing I wish the place had was room darkening blinds or curtains. the one's in there didn't keep the light out as much as we'd wanted them to.

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as great. The place is clean, comfortable, and in an ideal location—just minutes from downtown but still quiet and relaxing. Zainab is an incredible host—responsive, thoughtful, and always willing to help with anything you need. I always enjoy staying here and will definitely be back if I'm ever in town again. Highly recommend!

An amazing place to stay on your Alaska adventure! Easy to find right off Alaska's main highway - we used this as a base camp to access all the amazing fishing creeks/rivers in the surrounding area. The cabin has everything you need and is very spacious with a cozy wood stove! There's an adorable coffee stand next door with a fire pit and games, giving you a perfect place to hang out. Kale and his crew are amazing hosts! Would love to stay again! 10/10 :D

Wonderful house with $1 million view. Everything is lovely, modern, and this is the best stocked house I’ve ever stayed in with Airbnb. If you want to cook, don’t bring a bunch of spices and oil, it’s all there. We had enough tissue and toilet paper and paper towels for a whole week. This is not a stingy house and the stuff is good quality. Good cookware and dishes and tools. Comfortable seating areas, lovely balcony, luxurious linens on the bed and even heated mattress pads and towel bar. And enough towels!!!! As nice as the inside of the house is, the balcony and yard are amazing. We were on the lookout for animals, and Joe was kind enough to message us when a moose was in the yard. It was fantastic! The house sits at the top of a mountain overlooking the city of Anchorage. We didn’t get a lot of city lights because the sun stays out very late at the end of May. But the views of the mountains and the water are spectacular.

Nelia was responsive, friendly and helpful. Nice that she provided some basic pantry items gradients.

The place was easy to find, really beautifully decorated. Yana was really responsive when we had a concern brought to her. It got resolved very quickly. There were only 3 towels and 5 of us staying, but we made it work. The beds were comfy and so were the pillows. The laundry room had lots of laundry soap and that was super nice and convenient. Other than the neighborhood being a little run down, it was a really great place to stay.

We enjoyed staying at Jacob’s. It was really cool walking onto the back porch and watching two young moose and their mom having an early morning walk.

The apartment is close to the airport, so it ideal if you arrive late. The surroundings is quiet, good place to relax. Easy to find and check in. Everything was super clean. The bed was comfortable. Overall we were really satisfied with Joel and Jennys cozy apartment. Thank you.

We really loved this Airbnb. Stay was wonderful, location was perfect, and the place was very well stocked up too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a short stay near the airport.

This comfortable apartment gave us a home away from home on our first trip to Alaska. It was cozy and well equipped with a warm fireplace, coffee pot, large shower and comfortable bed. Jane provided shampoo and body wash as well as some coffee and tea bags. The garden was lovely with blooming flowers and trees. I would recommend this place to future travelers to Anchorage. While it was convenient and walkable to downtown, it allowed us to feel private and secluded with it's hidden garden.

This is a perfect spot! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great location, super close to the airport. It was a lovely place to land after a long drive and sightseeing. Stacy responded quickly and is so kind! Highly recommend :)

This apartment was more spacious than it appeared on listing, although the floor plan was unusual. Watch your step in the entry area. The location was very close to downtown. The furniture and bed was comfortable. Thank you for hosting us, Nikki: we had a very nice stay.

We really enjoyed our night at Steph’s condo. It had a great view of the ocean and was walking distance from multiple Anchorage restaurants/bars. Steph was also super responsive and made the whole process feel seamless. Thank you for hosting us, Steph!

Great place to stay, peaceful, always clean and tidy. AI especially enjoy having use of a garage. Brad iss a great host, lways very responsive.

This was my first time staying at Jodi’s but it definitely won’t be our last! Great location near the heart of Girdwood and everything is in pretty minimal walking distance. Jodi was friendly, accommodating and the condo was spotless. HIGHLY recommend her spot!

We enjoyed our stay in Megan's condo. It was very clean, and very quiet which are both huge priorities for us. Well remodeled, located right in the heart of Girdwood, walking distance to the restaurants and shops with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Only note I'd have for future guests is this is on the third floor and there wasn't an elevator (that we could find), which made loading/unloading a little trickier. Otherwise, this is a great place in a great location.

I needed a convenient location with security, parking and most of all very quiet. Dylan’s place was all of these plus everything worked smoothly was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was a great market two blocks away and it was convenient for the airport without any suggestion of airport noise. I would use it again.

This place is clean neat and perfect for my stay. The location was also perfect being close to many restaurants and bars. I attended a conference at the Conference Center and the proximity made the trip easy. Janna was also very responsive when I had questions and answered all my questions.
