My holiday home in Wendland

This old barn has been transformed into an architectural experience through modern expansion. Over 250 square meters, two living areas, three closed bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. There is also a sauna. Suitable for up to two families or three couples. The location: edge of the village overlooking the fields, the circular village of Trabuhn in the beautiful Wendland. In the village there is a riding stable with riding opportunities for guests, including children. Swimming facilities in Arendsee and Gartow.

Welcome to our stylish holiday apartment – perfect for families, groups and friends. Completed in 2022, this property offers modern living comfort across approximately 170 square metres. You will find a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sofa bed for two additional guests. Space for up to 10 people. Our first apartment is located in the front half of the former cowshed. On the ground floor there is a charming kitchen island, the dining and living area as well as the bathroom. The double bed in the upper sleeping area is supplemented by a single bed; in addition, there is a comfortable sofa bed for two (a total of 5 sleeping places). Our second listing, the Eulennest, is located right next door and can be booked in addition. In that case, there is space for up to 8 people.

Relax with the whole family in this cozy accommodation. The listed building ensemble from 1799 is located in the Wendland region, where numerous cultural highlights meet beautiful, partly untouched nature. A true paradise for children as well: A sandbox, a large hammock, plenty of play equipment, bikes, scooters, and the traditional circular village (“Rundling”) that’s perfect for playing together. An organic pig farm is also part of the property, adding to the rural charm.

Sunny, large garden, family-friendly and fireplace: The beautiful apartment in a converted barn is ideal for people looking for peace, exercise and nature. Wi-Fi (about 23/7 MBits) and a washing machine are available as well as two private entrances. The sauna costs €10 for 2 hours, each additional hour €5.

Vacation home on the Drömling

Right by the Drömling, the biosphere reserve, our apartment is located on the ground floor of a large farmhouse. It has a separate entrance and parking spaces with the possibility to charge an electric car for a fee of 0.40 euros per kWh. The courtyard is fully fenced and ideal for children. The swing, sandpit and playhouse are available for playing. You are welcome to use the pool. A barbecue (charcoal) is available. We also live in the house and are always available

The Storchendorf Wahrenberg is right on the Elbe and offers an ideal location to enjoy nature and activities. Wahrenberg does not have through traffic. In the garden you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Cycling and canoeing are possible directly on site or nearby, as well as swimming on the Elbe or on lakes. The spa in Bad Wilsnack and the beautiful Waldbad Seehausen are ideal for excursions. Simple bicycles cost €5 per day.

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The residential house and barn of the listed 3-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the linden trees are pruned back, the house can be seen in all its glory. From May, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage and stays wonderfully cool throughout the summer...
