Holiday rentals with a patio in Alta Sierra

the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

We had so much fun! This is such a good area and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our friends wedding. A reminder that this is a ~cabin~ in nature; if you’re not into that, maybe take a pass!

You can expect a clean and neat home to at when staying at Tomika’s. The place has everything you need and it is in a great location near shops and good places to eat. Any questions my wife and I had, Tomika was quick to reply, and accommodate. She is a great host, and next time we need a place to crash in the area, Tomika’s place will be number one on our list. 😁

The Puppet Inn met every expectation we had for our anniversary / woodcarving retreat stay. Marisa, Ray, and Corinne have created a wonderful little getaway space that was a joy to stay in. We had complete privacy, yet we were just steps away from the workshop where Ray’s 3-day Beginners’ Woodcarving Retreat was held. The decor was comfortable and homey, and we loved the Pinocchio/Gepetto-theming; it’s perfect. As we are “Disnerds” ourselves, all of the Disney touches were appreciated. Everything was clean and tidy, and well-maintained. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to plan and prepare meals when we stayed in. We tried a recommended local restaurant (Alloro Cucina Italiana) in Grass Valley for our anniversary dinner and it was fantastic! Corinne graciously provided us with a lovely dessert after dinner, which was just perfect and most appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts or for a nicer place to stay. We hope to return for another visit soon! Thank you!!

Saturday was pretty noisy. But over all good location, clean.

Liz as a host was very helpful! I had a last minute lodging cancellation that led me to need to book her unit the same day at very short notice. For a fee, Liz was able to get me in which made my day so much easier! She was very responsive and friendly. The unit itself was very nice; nestled within a home that seemingly had 2 other units. Although smoking was prohibited; there was a lingering aroma of an herby substance, which for me, was not necessarily a problem. Later in the evening noise did pick up, but, I checked out at around 3 AM so it didn’t have the chance to bother me too much. The listing was very spot on, cozy and home like. Would recommend!

Love the view from the backyard and from the balcony. The apartment is huge too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer and Eric's place. We felt right at home the minute we stepped through the door. The layout of the apartment made the bedrooms very private and quiet with a comfortable living room, kitchen, and dining room area. The huge deck provided a lot of outdoor space. Jennifer and Eric live on the property so we saw them periodically. They were friendly and respectful our space and time. The house is located right off of I-80, so it was quick and easy to get to Auburn and other destinations. We had a few questions during our 10 day stay and Jennifer was exceptionally quick in responding. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area.

Eva’s home is a peaceful, beautiful retreat, with the sound of wind in the trees, birds, and a running creek. The many windows and deck magnify the natural beauty and privacy of the location. The house is well laid out, spacious and airy, with a marvelous gourmet kitchen and welcoming master suite. ADA accessibility and central heating/AC make it comfortable for everyone. Furnishings are uncluttered and relaxed. It is a delightful place to stay at home and enjoy!

Wonderful house in Auburn! As described, clean, functional, nicely appointed. Levi has done a beautiful job renovating this charming house & making it into a great & modern AirBNB. Comfortable beds. Very good for families. Host communicates well & very welcoming.

Gorgeous home!! It is really far from town on a winding country road but it is gorgeous. Well stocked and comfortable stay. Beautiful view!!

Absolutely perfect location for our interests. It is quiet and in the country but super close to downtown Grass Valley, to the fair grounds and to hiking. Great porch, only wish I had more time to sit out there. Nice spacious place. We were 2 couples and did not feel at all cramped.

The stay was peaceful and clean. The listing was exactly as described. Courtney was very responsive, helpful, and kind. I’d recommend this place.

We had a great time at Rocky's place. The property was beautiful, private and comfortable. The home had everything we needed and more. It was centrally located and nice to be so close to the local mountain store and the lake. Rocky and Sean were very responsive and we greatly appreciated it! We would definitely book this property again!

the little house was perfect for us and our dog. In town, but above the main hub. The house is as described. the charm of the "old bones", in the floor, doors, and simple decor, was a good fit. We enjoyed walking everywhere and taking our pup with us. A very dog friendly town.

In town with friends for a spiritual retreat. This was the perfect place to come home to in the evenings. Serene. Peaceful neighborhood. Well located. Great kitchen for cooking. Lovely seating areas, inside and outside. I'd love to return when I had more time to actually enjoy the house.
