very nice landlords, were greeted kindly with wine and flowers. Apartment as described, everything clean. Good location Shopping close, beach, restaurants reachable by bike in 5 minutes. Great sandy beach, many great excursion destinations accessible by bike on beautiful paths. Leiden is very worth seeing only 7 km away. Landlord has also given tips. Highly recommended. Apartment offers plenty of space even for bikes in the garden.

After I made my reservation I immediately communicated with the hosts. However there was no response. I was a little concerned as I was soon departing for the Netherlands and I have not heard from them. I called the contact number provided on the listing & spoke to Willem. Upon arrival at the property, I had a friendly welcome by Willem, the host. He was kind enough to allow an early check-in due to my early arrival in Amsterdam. The acomodation was spacious, clean and homey. It provided all the necessities needed. The place is in a farmland surrounded with nature. Situated adjacent to the water, swimming ducks, & swans were a familiar sight. Across the distance, were cows, sheep, horses. Beautiful surroundings, it was quiet & secure. It provided me comfort for one month of my stay. There was free parking outside for my rental car. Willem & Anja were kind and friendly. They made sure my stay was pleasant. I would highly recommend this place & would consider staying here again.

Gorgeous! To see out the window stretching green, domestic and wild animals, from a welcoming house...it's incredible. Everything close to what matters, Amsterdam, The Hague, tulip fields, Keukenhof. Thank you!

The house is located near Amsterdam, about half an hour away. It's a beautiful, clean house in a quiet area. The owner is polite and friendly. It's the best place to sleep after a busy day in Amsterdam.

Very clean accommodation, very convenient, close to the Center, perfect for our stay. Communication with our host Wijnand went very well, quick and clear information. I would definitely recommend this place for your visit to Gouda!

perfect apartment to stay with 2 children. You walk right onto the dunes and beach. It was also nice that there were kites and beach stuff available for the children. Nearby, there is plenty to do and shops are all within walking distance. Think about bringing your own towels. We had overlooked it.

Wow! We felt so lucky to have stayed in this beautiful attic loft - what a treat it was!! The patio had amazing rooftop views and was a peaceful place to start and end each day. The loft itself is beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe and all the amenities you need including washer/dryer. We had sunny weather for our visit to Keukenhof and a wonderful bike tour through the surrounding flower farms later that afternoon, complete with the scent of hyacinth in the air...it was truly a dream. Our time in Leiden was absolutely fantastic and coming home to Bert & Marieke's place every day was the cherry on top! We sure hope to come back someday soon!! Thank you! 🧡🪻🧡

The bus station is just a short walk away, so it’s super convenient to visit the city centre too. The room is spotless and cosy, and the host is a real sweetheart, always ready to lend a hand.

The place was just like the photos, lovely and clean and nice extras like paddle boards for on the lake and a hot tub to relax in at the end of a day sightseeing. Great comfy furniture which was nice. Super quiet surroundings and a lovely sunset if you get back early enough. Used as a base for the tulip fields and Amsterdam. Would return again without question if a holiday took us back in this direction.

We stayed a week in this beautiful house by the lake. Nature is unique the view of the lake and the seabirds spectacular. You have absolute peace and, if you want, you can also go out a bit by rowing boat. Gouda, Rotterdam and The Hague are super quick to reach if it rains or you want to see something different. We felt very comfortable in the house. There are probably some flight bugs due to the lake location, but at least at this time of the year there were no stinging specimens. We would come back back.

Everything perfect. Nice contact with host. Fantastic apartment located directly on the water. Leiden and Amsterdam can be reached by car on about 40 minutes.

A beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet place. It has everything we needed for a long time stay. Jorrit is very helpful, ha was always avalaible if we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place.

Excellent property that was accurately described. My family loved the peaceful atmosphere. The market, bakery, and excellent restaurants were easy walking distance. Wendy Jane was very responsive to all my questions. Only thing of note is ensuring you have transportation figured out. Relying on Uber can get expensive vs renting a car.

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

Lovely accommodation and great hosts. The apartment had everything we needed. A very large and comfortable bed gave us both a great nights sleep. Great access to a local bus that took us into Leiden from where we could access Amsterdam and Haarlem. Local shops within walking distance. A must for any visitors in the spring is Keukenhof botanical gardens. Tulips were just stunning. Gouda is also worth a visit. We will return at some point.

We had a great stay. Very cozy and clean. The surroundings were very quiet, we had great evenings outside on the terrace. We will be happy to come back!

Mèhdi was very kind and responsive all the way through our stay. He checked us in personally and we had a very interesting conversation. He told us some fun facts and history about the canal/river passing in front. Place was spotless and felt like home, would definitely go back!

Great stay! The apartment is centrally located on a beautiful canal. Despite being on the ground floor, it felt very private. Quiet, lovely design, comfortable--and a very responsive and helpful host who went above and beyond. We hope very much to return again!

The location of the apartment is great. You are at the beach in a few minutes. We felt comfortable and the view is really fantastic.

We had a very nice stay and felt very comfortable. The check in was super easy and it was well described where we needed to go. From there we could very well walk to the beach every day and get into town. We felt at home:)

The apartment is exactly how it looks and has been described, all facilities are provided. It is a quiet street near the water and there are plenty of shops and hiking options nearby. I had a very pleasant stay there.

Really great place! Gouda is such an underrated city and I highly recommend it to anyone. The Airbnb was super modern and clean. Really quiet at night. The bed was cosy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The host was also super responsive and very accomodating!!

We are incredibly grateful to have found this great place to stay! The apartment was furnished with a lot of love for detail - the fresh tulips and Easter bells made us feel right at home. The hot tub is of course an absolute highlight! And Remy was the perfect host: he gave us directly helpful tips for the area - which places are worthwhile, where to find the perfect beach, which restaurants have the best food, ... and where to park for free to drive to Amsterdam. The location is nice and quiet but ideal to make great excursions all day. We'll be back for sure and have already recommended the place directly to friends. High praise and thanks Remy! :)
