Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Alexandria

Spent just 1 night at John’s place for a quick DC weekend to collect family that flew into DC and it was ideal for us. Great kitchen to prepare and enjoy dinner and breakfast. Large rainfall type shower and loads of fluffy towels. Lots of clever lighting and interesting artwork. Ground floor so easy to get into with large suitcases. All in all a memorable weekend in DC and would definitely visit Johns place again. Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at Jeffery’s house. It wasn’t anything extravagant but did the job. Jeffery offered lots of recommendations and we even went to one of his restaurant recommendations twice because it was so good. Downside was that the thermostat for the heater is not in the unit so I had to text Jeffery when we needed it adjusted but he was very quick to reply and get it adjusted. One of the beds had what looked to be dog hair on it and that would be my only complaint.

I been by Angel’s place several times and it’s always great. I would highly recommend her listing

Was in town for a capitals playoff game and the location was perfect for that and also to hang out and eat in Chinatown. Clean, good instructions, helpful host, I would recommend.

Spending time in DC, Nita's place was perfect for what we needed. Being right next to the metro made it so easy to get back and forth without having to worry about parking and costs. You can hear the announcements from the station, but not enough to be a bother. The room was actually even bigger than the pictures let on. It was a great stay!

I had a great time with my family at Michael's Airbnb. It's tucked away in a nice cozy neighborhood and felt so peaceful and quiet. The perfect place for everyone in our group to wind down after spending the day at museums and eating good food nearby! Super clean, roomy spaces to sit around and talk, and it had everything we needed.

Really happy to have found this rental. The host was amazing and her home reflected everything on the description. I was hesitant with all of the stairs with toddlers, but it was perfectly fine. Sizing of rooms was great, and each guest essentially had their own restroom. Definitely would recommend for anyone considering travel to this area.

Grace was very polite and considerate. My family felt comfortable in area, and it was close to the Metro. The house was large, well equipped, and nicely decorated; with TV in each room.

We've stayed at many Airbnb's, but I have to say this place was the best! We booked a year out due to the location for the Army/Navy game. Looking at the photos and the description of the home we knew it was a perfect fit. Little did we know that it would exceed our expectations! It was decorated beautifully and the kitchen along with all the amenities that were available was awesome. We were 2 couples with husbands that enjoy having a cigar. The man cave was the perfect place for it! They have several air filtration systems to help with the smoke. I have asthma and did fine which was surprising. The "Ladies Lounge" was the cutest and such a great touch. There is also an outdoor shopping mall close by (maybe 2 miles or less) that has some restaurants and even a Costco if needed. I can't say enough about this place. I would definitely come back with an additional 2 couples to fill up the other rooms!

My wife and I had a great time visiting Northern Virginia. Emanuel is an exceptional host who made sure our stay was pleasant and safe. We will gladly come back if we return to the area.

Michelle is a great host, very friendly and helpful. I appreciate her driving me to where my mother is staying. She gave me a little token before I left, so sweet. I’ll book her place again when I go back to DC to visit my mother.

The place was perfect for our needs! Jacie was very clear about things like parking and noise so that my expectations were managed well. the place was super cute and had everything we needed. loved the laminated instructions all over the home and Jacie was very easy to communicate with. Great experience overall!
