Townhouse holiday rentals in Alexandria

The place was well equipped for my 2 year old with a pack and play, high chair and baby gate for the stairs. Apartment felt safe and secure and minutes to the Capitol building.

Great property for a large family or adult group. EZ walk to Wharf and to Metro station (Waterfront/green line). EZ walk to morning coffee if you don’t want to make it yourself. Appreciated the large dining table and first floor set up that was good for socializing and happy hour. We had 7 adults in our group- plenty of room for both our couples and our singles. Twin bed rooms are adult friendly with both size of twin beds and neutral decor. The parking spot was an appreciated amenity! Great place for a group visit to DC, with responsive and friendly hosts.

Greg’s place was very clean and in a great location. Walkable to markets, restaurants, and metro. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was a great place to stay during our family vacation to DC!

Great stay for a concert at RFK stadium field. Cute airbnb amd just what we needed. Was very walkable to great coffee shops.

Linda's place was very homy and she was a very kind and responsive host. Instructions were very clear, tons of amenities, and clean place. Great for a family of 5. Beautiful patio and clean bathrooms.

Scott was very easy to work with. provided check in and check instructions multiple days in advance. home was clean and neighbors were quiet. we didn't do any cooking but kitchen was well equipped if we had needed it. beds were comfy and clean. plenty of toilet paper, towels and paper towels. washer and dryer with laundry pods a definite plus! we were so close to the metro station and a few stores. the place was prefect for us and the hosts are very responsive. you must must must eat at Omar's. it's absolutely delicious and super close to the house! we honestly had the best food every place we ate. Breakfast at Matt and Tony's is a must but get a reservation. baked and wired cupcakes are delicious. thankfully we walked a lot!! thank you for opening your home. it was great trip and having a nice place to come home to each night made it better.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home! The space was spotless, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable for our group. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus, and the extra half bath made things even more convenient. The patio was the perfect spot to relax in the evenings—cozy and private. What really stood out were the hosts—they were extremely kind, welcoming, and super responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One thing to note: there are quite a few steps throughout the property, so it may not be ideal for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. That said, it worked great for our group, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The place is cozy and comfortable. Love the little attic area for relaxing and reading. The host is very responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend this place!

We had 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 under 2 all stay in this beautiful townhome in Old Town. The place was in a fantastic location, it was just a close enough to walk and go grab dinner, or a walk (.75-.85 of a mile) to the metro station! Alex was very informative, and helpful during our stay. We had a slight issue with the downstairs toilet and Alex was very quick to respond and suggest a solution, he also offered to come by and fix it! If I HAD to choose, I’d say the only small negative was very low water pressure in the shower. Other than that, this was a great home! We also LOVED the espresso machine. Used it every morning 😀. Would totally stay here again!

Philips home was the perfect location. Walking to king street and all its offerings in Alexandria. Quick walk to the metro to take you into dc ( and only took 16 minutes to get to the national archives via the yellow line) also Ubers were plentiful in the area when needed as well. His home was very well appointed with all the comforts of home and then some. Plenty of bedding ( pillows, sheets, blankets), towels, plates, silverware, glasses, appliances everything you needed there was ample of. Beds were comfy. Philip was thorough with communication and instructions; always quick to respond. Had no issues at all during our stay. Highly recommend.

My family and I had a great time while we were there. Wish we could have stayed longer. I’ve been with Air B&B for a couple of years now and Ben was the best host that we have ever stayed with. He was great from the booking of his house, all the way to the end of our stay. He even checked to make sure we all made it home safely. His house was great for my family of 8. We had everything we needed for our stay. I definitely recommend you to stay at his home if you are going to visit the DC area. Thanks again Ben for everything 😊

Great experience. The apartment is in a convenient location in town. The place itself looks just like the photos listed. Clean. I felt safe in the area/very walkable. Alex is also very responsive.

We could tell that Ali added nice touches to make our stay extra special. Some snacks, lovely lighting for the back porch, and plenty of space to spread out inside. The pool table was cute for the kids. Adults played too and we got a kick out of it. It was very clean and I appreciated the decorations.

This is a great spot to stay when visiting Alexandria or D.C. Parking is easy, the home was clean and check-in/out was a breeze. The only thing to note, if you are traveling with elderly or mobility challenged people you may want to consider someplace else. The stairs leading to the second level or steeper than average and there is not a bathroom on the main level. Those two things didn’t phase me, but my elderly parents did have trouble navigating the steps and wished there was a main floor bathroom. Mary was a great host and her home was beautiful!

What an amazing stay! I tend to be very picky about the places I choose to stay and I couldn’t have been more impressed ! From the amazing customer service the host provided to the sense of privacy we got even though Old Town and King street are just steps away… (literally steps) The walk score for this home should be 1000. All of the furniture was very comfortable and clean. This home will definitely be my first choice when visiting Alexandria in the future!

We loved our stay in this townhome! It’s in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood but still just minutes from all the shops, restaurants, and waterfront. The home was clean, comfortable, and felt like a perfect home base to explore the city. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean, great neighborhood and the owner John was very responsive. Generally he replied within just a few minutes. The location is also very convenient to Reagan National airport and downtown DC. The accommodations were just like the photos and we felt very safe because as I said, it's in a great neighborhood. Lots of families walking around and there's a nice playground halfway down the block. We also walked to the nearby pizza place and there's a coffee shop and grocery store very close as well. We were there for six nights and only once were we unable to find a spot directly in front of the home. In that case, there was a spot across the street just a few doors down. If our travels take us to DC again, we know where to stay.

Rudolph’s home was wonderful! It was perfect for our little group and perfect distance from the concert we were attending. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. Rudolph was super helpful if we had any questions and a great host. Would recommend :)

I cannot recommend this property enough. This air bnb is one of the best on the market for the price. Everything you need for a night; or multi-day stay. The kitchen is incredible. The cleanliness was an obvious emphasis by the owner. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was just like home. I travel frequently for work and have not stayed at a better property. 10/10 across the board.

Came here with my wife and two kids. Easy drive from the airport. Cool house. I like the open concept. Makes it easy for parents to always have eyes on their young kids. The kitchen also has a huge window that looks out into the backyard and a French door that leads to the backyard. Oh the small kitchen appliances in the pantry was also a nice touch. Would definitely come back!

This location was perfect for our weekend plans in DC. The house was super cute, homey, and very clean.t The host was very responsive the one time I needed to reach out, and her check in/out instructions were easy to follow. We really enjoyed our time there and hope we can snag it for our annual trip.
