Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from main house. Private entrance, a private bedroom and a private bathroom. There is one b and one b space.

Holiday home Tergreft is a beautiful cozy home on the Dokkumer Ee (The Elfstedentocht route) The house was just renovated and has a combined design of old and modern with all the needed facilities. The house offers the possibility to rest, enjoy the Dokkumer Ee and the beautiful ships that pass by, bird watching, cycling. Within 20 minutes of driving you will get to Leeuwarden or Dokkum both interesting. There is also a 2 persons canoe and two sup boards that can be used free of charge.

Our cozy B&B is located on the Spanjaardslaan. One of the most beautiful streets in Leeuwarden. In three minutes you can walk through the Prinsentuin to the center of the historic city of Leeuwarden. The guesthouse is located behind the house from 1906 and has its own entrance, living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The guesthouse is completely self-sufficient. Due to the combination with the cozy living room and kitchen, the guesthouse is ideal for a family or group of four friends.

Welcome to Pakhús 1879, this historic building in the heart of Leeuwarden is just a 10 minute walk from the station & 3 minutes from car park Hoeksterend (7€ p/d, 24/7 exit). The bustling centre of the European Capital of Culture 2018 is literally around the corner. The apartment of no less than 100m2 is equipped with all comforts: kitchen, 55 inch TV with comfortable sofa & salon table, bathroom with bath & a spacious bedroom with king size bed for a good night's sleep.

Close to the city centre of Leeuwarden is Woodpecker, a spacious and bright 100 m² bungalow. You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. The bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. Woodpecker Leeuwarden can also be booked via its own site. We are entering the last season to start again somewhere else. Welcome! This brand new, cozy studio is only a 10-minute walk from the station, and 3 minutes from parking garage. Hoeksterend (Max.€7 p/d & leave 24/7). The lively, old town of the European Capital of Culture 2018 is a stone's throw away. The studio is stylishly furnished & fully equipped: full private bathroom including rain shower, 43 inch TV (with chromecast), kitchenette with microwave, fridge & coffee machine, dining table, desk & double bunk bed.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

Within 10 minutes, you will be in Dokkum, and within half an hour you will be in Leeuwarden or Drachten. You can park for free at the forest, right next to the cottage. All the basic facilities are available, and this allows you to relax and enjoy your stay in Rinsumageast!”

Hidden in the Leeuwarder district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, this special quiet spot is a short walk to the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into town, shop or visit one of the museums. E also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home workshop (Wi-Fi available).
