Gorgeous wood cabin, self contained space with large decking area on hill top giving delightful views over Bourne Woods.
“Great little place for a few nights! The view over the nearby woods from bed via the bifolding doors on a sunny morning is a delight, as are Pat’s two super cute dogs. The secret parking right next to the annexe was very handy for unloading suitcases. There is no kitchen but a kettle, microwave, fridge etc - but this doesn’t matter for a short stay as there’s the excellent Greek restaurant Yiayias within 5 mins walk. Runners/hikers should check out the nearby Bourne woods routes on Strava, or run along the river to the Bat and Ball for lunch - beautiful! Great spot, great views, great host.”
A converted stable yard, this is a beautiful place to enjoy some cozy luxury. You’ll love the place because of the super comfy beds, powerful showers, free wifi, flat screen tvs and hospitality trays in each room. There is also a lounge and kitchen and spa treatment room where you can have a massage, pedicure etc. Our venue also offers you exclusive use of a swimming pool and hot tub! (Opening hours are 10am - 8pm daily.)
“If you're thinking of staying at Christmas Pie Barns, get it booked in! I often book big group trips with friends and for a group of 10 this really is fantastic value. It's also an excellent space if you are hosting an event- Sarah and her family live next door but were exceptionally relaxed and we had no issues there. This group trip was for a hen do which Sarah was happy with too. We were able to host a cocktail making class in the barn, which was a perfect space - think very tiny barn, wedding venue style! We had big meals in the main living room area, with plenty of space to dance too! It was great to have the main barn separate from the accommodation, so we didn't feel on top of each other throughout our stay. Great touch to have the hot tub open until 8, which was clean and well-maintained. In our group, many of us were already housemates so it made it a bit easier for the social distancing requirements. However, if you do need to social distance, Sarah has a great way of splitting out into pods where each bedroom has its own completely separate en-suite anyway. There is hand-sanitizer throughout the property too. Fantastic stay and genuinely trying to think of an excuse for another group trip so we can stay again! Thank you Sarah!”
'Rosebud' is located in the Surrey semi-rural village of Tongham, within walking distance of the local pub and shopping parade. A further walk will take you into the quaint village of Seale. The Hogs Back Brewery is just up the road from our cottage. The tour of the brewery is a must for all beer lovers! Farnham and Guildford are within easy reach by car. You can be in central London within the hour by train. Ideal for business travellers, visiting relatives or attending a wedding.
“Michelle’s communication was spot on; very quick and responsive, even after we’d left and I asked her to locate something I’d left behind, which she kindly posted to me. The cottage is nice and cosy, warm, clean and so very unique; we loved sleeping in the mezzanine at the top of the ladder, which is nice and sturdy with wide rungs, so very easy to clamber up and down on. Michelle provided some useful items of food, like bread and some nice sweet treats on a complementary basis and there’s the option of some alcohol for a decent price using the honesty box. You can hear the traffic outside, but it’s not a busy road and even less busy later in the evening/early morning. Overall recommended and close to explore places like Farnham and Godalming.”
