Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Our Bay-front Cottage was built in the mid 1930s as part of a small fishing village. It is well appointed, quiet,rustic and relaxing, a welcomed days end retreat from the hustle and bustle of vacationing in the Gulf Shores area. Great place for couples. We now have an outdoor solar shower. Great in summer, helps to make up for the small shower. People were smaller back then. Coming soon... the bike trail connecting to Gulf Shores and the National Park will be done soon. Rated #1 bike trails.

Located just 1.5 miles from the visitor's center at Desoto State Park, the cottage is close to everything including the restaurants of downtown Mentone, Little River Canyon, and shopping in Ft. Payne.

Juju’s Pond House on Smith Pond

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located on 100 acres and nestled quietly on a private pond. The house was originally built in 1921 and in 2018 we had the house moved down to the pond and did a full renovation while preserving as much original character as we could. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sunrise from the screen porch swing or one of the docks at the pond. The property has nature trails to explore, fishing, and plenty of wildlife.

Come relax in our cottage on beautiful Shoals Creek. Enjoy your private cottage located on the same property as the owner's home, but with plenty of space in between for privacy. Brightly decorated with a full bath, kitchen and bedroom. Plus, two futons that make out into full size beds. Great swimming and fishing off the pier. Just 12 miles from downtown Florence if you'd like to visit or stay and totally relax on the lake.

Located on 7 acres in the beautiful Choccolocco Valley with gorgeous views of the Appalachian Foothills. In addition to lovely interior decor, outdoor spaces include patio with grill, covered area, and adjacent wildlife area/walking. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and accessible by stairs. The home is located adjacent to my home.
