“This cottage was beautiful and peaceful! Right off a lovely pond with a wrap around porch. The directions were all very clear. I especially loved the thoughtful touches throughout. I noticed that they took the time to have hand sanitizer and antibacterial soap at every sink which was nice during this pandemic. The cottage was also spotless and we felt right at home. Definitely would stay again!”

“My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time at Madeleine's tiny home away from home. I loved the thought and effort she has put into the style of the home. She even has a little page printed giving the story of how the house was made. We loved being able to spend the time on the porch watching the sunrise and seeing the barges go by. I was a bit iffy on the boat bed at first but it was very comfortable and super stable. I do highly recommend this Airbnb.”

“We had a great time at the lake house! The photos are truly representative of the house and lake. It is quiet and peaceful and very secluded. We enjoyed swimming from the dock, kayaking and fishing. The lake was perfect for swimming and is very clean. It was fun feeding the catfish daily. The house is super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and played air hockey in the game room. David and Jill Are great hosts and were very easy to communicate with. There are snacks and dog treats provided which is a nice touch. Plenty of cooking equipment, and basics such as salt, pepper, shampoo, hair dryer, towels, etc. we are already planning a trip back! Hopefully this time we can pull ourselves away from the house and lake for a trip to cheaha state park!”
