Close to Aix-Les-Bains, Bourget beach and lake 4 km away, ski resorts and Bauges Regional Park 30 minutes away. From Saturday to Saturday in summer.

We have 2 chalets so if your dates aren’t available please check the other chalet’s calendar. Within the majestic UNESCO Geopark Massif des Bauges and between the historic spa towns of Annecy, Aix-les-bains and Chambery. A 2 bedroom cottage with private SPA, fully enclosed private garden with direct mountain access from a tranquil, traditional Savoyard hamlet. Everything is included (bedding, towels, firewood, unlimited use of the jacuzzi). 10 min drive to Aillon Margeriaz ski resorts.

Come and stay with us at the foot of Mt Colombier on the sunny side of the tranquil Aillon Valley in the Parc National des Bauges situated at 920m between the charming cities of Annecy and Chambèry. It’s an amazing place to be for cheese lovers, cyclists, walkers, skiers and anyone who loves nature. We’ve lovingly converted an old Bauju cowshed into a beautiful and comfortable space for weekend retreats or extended holidays surrounded by nature and just a 10 minute drive from the ski lifts.

The cottage is located in mountain area at 980 m altitude, in one of the hamlets of Aillon le Vieux. You will find the calm and authenticity of a small village. In the Alps, in Savoy, 15 km from the center of Chambery, in the Bauges mountain range, at the end of the Chemin de La Bas in an enchanting environment for lovers of calm, serenity and permaculture. Authentic Mongolian yurt near our house, with its large equipped wooden terrace, in the middle of our garden-forest. Dry toilet near the yurt. Water point and solar shower under the trees. In winter, the yurt is heated with wood (Jotul stove), wood provided.

Our studio was completely renovated during the 2nd half of 2023. And in November 2024, the last major renovation with the change of the latest generation windows and shutters. We wanted it to be warm and welcoming and convenient for families. It is ideally positioned at the foot of the slopes of Aillons Margériaz 1000, on one level, close to shops, playgrounds, and the reception center which offers plenty of activities to tourists.
