Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Agios Nikolaos

Et lille godt byhus i en skøn by. I løbet af dagen kommer turisterne til byen, men om aftenen er det primært de lokale man møder, når man går ud og spiser eller får en kop kaffe. Der er mange spændende ting at se på Østkreta, så dagen gik hurtigt. Huset var rigtig fint og meget rent. Udsigten fra altanen fra enestående. Der var stillet en velkomstkurv frem, så man følte sig meget velkommen. Værterne var søde at skrive når der var noget relevant (eksempelvis at vi skulle passe på i trafikken da der både var lidt regn og vejarbejde fra lufthavnen👍).

We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation! The highlight was definitely the beautiful terrace with its stunning sea view – the perfect spot to start or end the day. The location is also excellent, with many lovely restaurants within walking distance, which we truly appreciated. It was also a great base for exploring the area by car. The designated parking spot is about 200–300 meters away – during our stay, there was always something available, so it worked out just fine. All in all, a wonderful place that we would happily recommend!

Wir waren 6 Tage in Amandas schönem Haus. Alles war blitzsauber. Die Küche groß, mit allem was man braucht. Wir haben das Haus nicht gleich gefunden, es liegt etwas versteckt. Amanda kam gleich und hat uns dort hingebracht. Die obere Terrasse ist groß und sehr gemütlich für das Frühstück und abends zum Ausklingen des Tages. 2 Tavernen sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Man kann dort gut und supergünstig essen. Was uns besonders an Limnes gefallen hat, waren die Bewohner. Sie waren alle superfreundlich und total hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit unserem kleinen Hund dort. Leider sind Hunde im Norden Kretas an den Stränden (z.B Elounda) nicht erwünscht. Deshalb werden wir weiterhin wieder in den Süden gehen, wo wir seit 20 Jahren unsere Urlaube verbringen. Nous avons grandement apprécié notre logement pendant ces quelques jours ! Le logement est propre, fonctionnel, très bien équipé et l’hôte très réactif. Que dire des deux extérieurs magnifiques ! La grande terrasse sur le toit pour se reposer a l’ombre en toute intimité avec vue sur la mer. La petite terrasse devant la maison est elle incroyable, les pieds dans l’eau. La maison est très bien située, à quelques mètres du centre- ville et le bar à côté est un vrai atout pour prendre un verre ou un repas depuis notre propre terrasse. Une petite perle tout comme la ville de Mochlos.

Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Lage mit dieser schönen Aussicht direkt auf das Meer war hervorragend! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und den Kindern hat es auch super gefallen. Wir konnten uns immer an Karolos wenden und er hat uns super Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen gegeben. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Great location overlooking the harbour. Vibrant esplanade with outdoor seating area to enjoy the ambiance. The apartment was in close proximity to public parking, shops and restaurants- 2-3 minutes walk. Spacious 2 storey apartment with a nice master bedroom suite upstairs and balcony and fully functional kitchen and facilities and second bedroom on the ground floor.

Had an absolutely beautiful stay at this apartment. The location is absolutely perfect for a relaxing get away. The property is really well equipped and has everything you could need. Maria was super friendly, responsive and communicated really well throughout our visit. We visited just before the main season and Mochlos was quiet and sleepy, just waking up. You'll need a car if you want to explore the island from here. Cannot recommend this property enough - we just had the most lovely time.

This is our second time in Mochlos, we love it and Popi's apartment is perfect to relax and enjoy the views and surroundings. I can highly recommend it, we hope to stay again in the future.

Nuo pat atvykimo dienos jaučiau šeimininkės dėmesį ir paslaugumą. Mane pasitiko autobusų stotyje, savo automobiliu nuvežė į prekybos centrą o po to į apartamentą. Kas kart pasidomėdavo ar viskas gerai. Padėjo surasti reikiamą stomatologą net kitame mieste - esu labai dėkingas užtai. Nežiūrint į tai, kad apartamentai buvo nutolę nuo centro ir greta judrios gatvės, papūdimys buvo arti ir puikiai įrengtas. Švara ir tvarka - 100 balų. Virtuvės indai ir prieskoniai, higienos priemonės buvo savo vietose, buvo net paplūdimio rankškuostis. Rekomenduoju - nepasigailėsite.

Fantastic location! The apartment is compact, modern and has all that you need. While other guests noted the noise of nighttime activity in nearby clubs & restaurants as being annoying, this did not worry us and is minimal due to double glazed windows. Close-by vehicle parking is difficult, however there are numerous car parks for 4-5€ p/day which we used for our stay. There were some basic maintenance aspects that needed attending to - ie shower drain backed up and began flooding around the toilet; and fridge freezer was completely iced up - we opted to fix both aspects. We have brought these to the attention of the host. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there again.

Magnifique séjour, une vue époustouflante. Des hôtes très accueillant et adorable. Le logement est propre, conforme aux photos. Je recommande cette location ! Le restaurant en bas de la rue Gefsis est EXCELLENT. Je recommande fortement. Un véhicule est nécessaire pour accéder au logement. Une adresse que je garderais !

Dieses Appartement hat eine bezaubernde Lage zu Agios Nicolaos. So einen Ausblick am Morgen zum Frühstück und am Abend mit einem Wein, der dir von deinem sehr freundlichem Gastgeber als Geschenk beschert wurde, von der atemberaubenden Terasse zu genießen, war für uns ein großes Geschenk. Wir sind schon in vielen Airbnb Appartements zu Gast gewesen, doch Eirinis Wohnung war für uns etwas Besonderes. Die absolute Sauberkeit und die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche hat uns beeindruckt. Da wir auch gerne selber Speisen zubereiten, war es schön zu sehen, dass hierfür fast alles zur Verfügung stand. Schon beim ersten schriftlichen Kontakt und der herzlichen, persönlichen Übergabe der Wohnung erlebten wir die griechiche Gastfreundschaft und wußten auch das Begrüßungspaket in Form von Obst, Wein und diversen anderen netten Dingen sehr zu schätzen. Wir bedanken uns für eine wunderbare Zeit und werden bei unserem nächsten Kreta-Besuch bestimmt wiederkommen.

Πολύ ωραίο κατάλυμα! Ήταν πολύ cozy το εσωτερικό του σπιτιού και πολύ δροσερό για την ζέστη της εποχής. Η αυλή πολύ μποχό και ότι πρέπει για αραγμα με παρέα σε μία πολύ ήρεμη γειτονιά και αν σου λείψει και κάτι πετάγεσαι με τα πόδια στα 20-30μ ακριβώς απέναντι όπου υπάρχει Σούπερ Μάρκετ (Σκλαβενίτης). Αν και το σπίτι είχε ήδη ότι χρειάζεται από πράγματα πρώτης ανάγκης. Δεν προλάβαμε να απολαύσουμε όλες τις ανέσεις του σπιτιού καθότι κάτσαμε μόνο 4 νύχτες και το μόνο που μας δυσκόλεψε ήταν το πολύ ωραίο κατά τα άλλα κρεββάτι στο πάτωμα λόγω και του ότι η σύζυγος ήταν σε εγκυμοσύνη. Θα ξανα επιλέγαμε σίγουρα όμως ξανά το κατάλυμα και για οικογενειακές διακοπές στο μέλλον!

Die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber von Bella Vista haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Gastgeber, vor allem Evi, haben ihr Herz am rechten Fleck und haben versucht, mir den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Sie waren immer erreichbar und gaben mir Tipps für Aktivitäten und Restaurants. Alle Unterkünfte von Bella Vista sind einzigartig und ein Spiegelbild der Kultur Kretas. Besonders meine Unterkunft fand ich atemberaubend. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und ich hatte einen unglaublichen Panoramablick auf die Stadt und das Meer. Ich kann die Unterkunft und vor allem die Gastgeber sehr empfehlen. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures on the website. We absolutely loved our stay here! Although there were other guests at the resort, we didn't see them at all, so it felt like we were the only people there. The facilities, including the pool, sun beds both in and out of the pool, which were incredible! Stefani showing us around when we first got there and explained that cleaning service was included, which we didn't expect. This made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely recommend the villa to our friends and family. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We had an amazing time at Katerina's place. Katerina was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive, always eager to help and share some recommendations. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was very nice and pleasant to relax at. Katerina's place is only a few minutes away from nice beaches and a town called Agios Nikolaos where you can find a lot of good restaurants and shops. The area is very calm, but would definitely recommend having a car - there are not a lot of places in a walkable distance. Overall we had a great time and were sad to leave. We hope to come back one day.

We loved the stay in Agios - Maria was very nice & flexible. Supermarket, lake, sea and restaurants surrounding the flat and the apartment is very sweet with everything u need for a couple of days in Agios. Nice balcony, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very thankful for our time here :)

I had the best time at George’s Apartment. The view is incredible, the little balcony very refreshing and the rooms absolutely convenient. I have loved the Meze Restaurant around the corner which is called The Hope and had the best time there.

I'm joining all the previous comments: the apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable in all aspects (good bedding, big shower, enough equipment in the kitchen, good WiFi, etc ), and Nikos' parents were lovely people who made me feel.welcome. The apartment is very central, and super close to a very nice little beach. It can be a bit noisy during the day because you're in the city center, with narrow and steep streets, but at night it was dead quiet. Parking can be challenging for the same reasons, but I've always found a spot eventually.

The place was sunny, clean, had everything we needed, lots of light and fresh air. The stay was very comfy and in a lovely location, within driving distance to gorgeous beaches and nice restaurants. Thank you!

Lovely apartment, very well equipped in a great location. Antonia our host was brilliant and responded immediately to questions we had. Welcome gift of food/drink was very much appreciated.

Host were so lovely, came to help us with some difficulties we were having connecting to wifi (mainly our fault after an exhausting 20 hrs of travel) The space was as advertised, great location, clean and well stocked with coffee and fruit on arrival. Would highly recommend. You need to be comfortable climbing stairs.

Super ny lejlighed, med alt i udstyr, passende rigtig godt til 2 personer, som ikke er gangbesværede, det går meget op eller meget ned. Det ligger centrale i forhold til alt, og meget lokalt. Det er svært at finde en gratis p plads. Men der ligger en betalings p plads lige ved siden af og der fik vi en yderst god aftaler med p pladsen manden, så vi nemt kunne parkerer hver dag. Terrassen er smal men tænker godt man kan sidde derude og nyde noget hygge. Det er en rigtig “storbys lejlighed” vi havde 4 dage/3 nætter og det fungerede super for os.

*Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mit atemberaubendem Meerblick auf Kreta* Mein Aufenthalt in einem Airbnb auf Kreta war einfach fantastisch! Die Unterkunft bot einen spektakulären Meerblick, der jeden Morgen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machte. Die Wohnung war modern und äußerst sauber, was sofort für Wohlbefinden sorgte. Besonders beeindruckt war ich von der Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers. Auf meine Anfrage hin wurden die Handtücher prompt erneuert, und als ein unerwarteter Sandsturm aufkam, kümmerte er sich sofort um die Reinigung der Unterkunft. Die Lage war ideal, mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften in der Nähe. Die Strände waren atemberaubend, und ich genoss es, im kristallklaren Wasser zu schwimmen. Die Go-Anbieter vor Ort waren äußerst hilfreich und gaben mir wertvolle Tipps, die meinen Aufenthalt bereicherten. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, da sie fließend Englisch sprachen. Insgesamt war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, den ich jedem empfehlen kann.
