Beachfront holiday rental in Agios Nikolaos

We had the best time staying at the apartment. We were two adults and a child and it was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as in the pictures and the apartment is even bigger than I expected. Especially the beautiful patio. The small kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. One can hear the road, so just bring your earplugs if you think it may bother you. There are mosquitoes nets and shades/curtains on all the windows which allowed us to keep them open at nights and sleep longer in the mornings. Other than the apartment itself, Pinelopi is the best host I have ever met on Airbnb. She took care of everything we needed, even before we asked. We felt right at home with her and we're very sad when it was time to go. We will always be happy to come and stay here again!

We had a great time at Pinelopi's relaxing apartment by the beach! She gave us lots of great suggestions of places to visit and was very kinda and friendly. There are lots of great beaches nearby. We enjoyed meeting Toby the dog and having Sissi the cat hang out with us each morning. thank you again!

Of all my trips to Greece, this was the first place I stayed where I just had to sit on the balcon and relax. Wat a wonderful view! The place where the house is located is calm and surrounded only by Greek nature. What we could want more? Dimitrios and his wife are very welcoming. Andreas house was a great find! What a beautiful outlook- views over the bay and the marina with the sun rising over the villa in the morning and cool, shady balconies in the afternoon and evening. It is a 2 minute walk from a small beach with lovely cafe/bar and 2 tavernas. A few hundred metres further is the sandy Almyros beach. The centre of Agios is about a 15/20 minute walk and the bus station is also in walking distance. Lots of places to visit by bus - very easy to use and cheap too! We discovered the free city bus on the last day there! The villa is perfect for a couple but could accommodate more than 2. Very clean with a washing machine which meant we were able to travel light with a small cabin bag each. Andreas was an attentive and helpful host who was happy to provide useful local information. I would be happy to recommend this property.

great place, perfect for a familh as well. A short walk to the beach and local taverns. A short drive to Agios Nicholas with great shopping and city walking.

We felt very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the patio. The apartment is practically furnished - for a simple breakfast and meal you will find everything you need. The hosts were very friendly, even provided a few small things and fruit. They also sent us a nice message with excursion tips. We immediately fell in love with Diaskari Beach - a not so crowded (at least in early June) beach, about 10 minutes away by car with a nice tavern and hammocks on the beach.

The Penthouse apartment was just as described and as the pictures showed. Very modern and clean, and the host and his team were very responsive during the stay. Would definitely stay again, the location is perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants and mini markets, you have everything you need on your doorstep with no need to drive anywhere unless you want to. The only thing missing was mirror’s in the bedrooms for drying hair which would be a really helpful addition. There are mirrors in the bathrooms, but not really suitable for hair drying once the bathroom is all steamed up from a shower. That being said, it would not stop me from returning.

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

remarkable and very well thought-out architecture; the building materials are of quality and the space is maximized. The whole place offers plenty of comfort. Marilou is very attentive to ensure impeccable service: many products provided, very regular maintenance, cleaning and linen change. We would highly recommend.

A good base for excursions in the east of the island. We were welcomed with homemade oil and rhaki and Easter bread. A very nice gesture. For us, it was a relaxing time, everything fit.

It was wonderful, the boys and I loved the fire and outdoor whirl, but also the beautiful rural setting and the starry night sky. Even homemade baked goods were brought to us. They were very lovely hosts. Thank you.

We had a great time in this lovely villa. The outside is truly beautiful and we loved spending the day at the pool. Inside is also very nice especially with the brand new kitchen. We would love to come back!

Great place! Beautiful view. Wonderful outdoor area with pool. Paying extra for pool heating was worse it. Sea shore across the street from the villa but might need to walk couple of minutes to sand beach with umbrellas. Grill was available per request. Some restaurants are within walking distance, but I would recommend renting a car. Hosts are very responsive.

Giorgio’s place was beautiful and well maintained. He was always very responsive (Ben when we locked ourselves out) and gave us recommendations for the local super market and an AMAZING place for dinner. The home was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view and had everything we needed.

Absolutely fantastic, five stars quite honestly isn’t enough for Menelaos and his beautiful penthouse villa. The villa is perfectly located….it really couldn’t be closer to the sea, with unique views of Mochlos, the island and the coasts to the east and west. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay, and the balcony is just perfect….the hardest thing was to drag ourselves away from it! Most importantly Menelaos is an absolutely perfect host, we’ve never had a welcome like it and we immediately felt at home, Menelaos is a true gentleman. We’re lucky to spend quite a bit of time in Crete and will definitely return to Menelaos Penthouse Villa….in fact I’m already planning our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment has the best views. In the middle of everything you need in Plaka, great restaurants and shop 50 yds away. I will visit again next year again in October. Thanks Lilly.

A truly fantastic place to stay. Exceptionally well stocked apartment with absolutely everything you would need for a long or short stay. Close to lots of restaurants, but well stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. Beautiful terrace for dining, both undercover and outside. Host Viky is charming and friendly and could not be more helpful. We hope to return another time.

When you are 20 steps from the waterfront and a choice of loveley taverna's, there is not much more you could whish for. Oded's place is lovely and we loved sitting in front of it and watch the world go by.

Eugenia is a welcoming and kind host. She was waiting for us when we arrived. She explained everything to us and gave us tips for sightseeing and restaurants in the area. The apartment was impeccable, and matches the listing description in every respect. Eugenia had nice touches for us (mineral water, fruit and everything for breakfast)👍. We highly recommend this place.

Good AirBnB. 10min walk to the beach. Great host! Very quiet location, good for relaxing.

We had a great stay at Matina’s place. It’s very comfortable and spacious. We loved the location, with some restaurants, small beach and our favourite Kimzu Sea Lounge just a couple of minutes walk away. For those that like a bit of exercise you can use the running track which is also very close. It’s also only about 10 minutes walk to the town and the lake. Check in and check out was very easy and the host was always available for any questions. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
