The Maltings

MoiraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Simpathetically converted malt house in a peaceful setting. Good sized house with absolutely brilliant garden that had plenty space for the dogs to run around. Comfy beds with fresh linen, towels, robes and slippers. Well stocked kitchen with thoughtful welcome gift. Cozy lounge with plenty logs for the burner. Great little study space for those that still have to do a bit of work. Hot tub clean with non-slip rubber mats around it. Unfortunately, more careful attention needed from cleaning team in places, which was disappointing - for the money, perfection expected. Warning for fellow townies - go less than walking pace along the track to prevent the underside of your car getting scraped, unless you drive a land rover. Also, the bins are located at the end of the road, so stinky rubbish needs to go in the car - too far to carry it. We're not precious about our car but our son flatly refused to take it in his new car!

Braeside Cottage, cosy 2 bedroom cottage.

Beth Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
Such a beautiful little get away with so many little hidden gems nearby! Was quiet 24/7 and we loved the peace and the amount of sun the garden and hot tub got. Such a cosy cottage and made us feel at home straight away, worth the drive! Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

Tranquil Cottage a modern 1 bedroom let

GailRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful location - clear directions supplied by the host. Local pub serving good food within a 5 minute walk. Cottage itself was clean & within a quiet location. There is a hot tub in a separate building available at an extra cost - was also clean, ready to use with a plentiful supply of towels . Would recommend for a couple looking for a weekend away interested in walking or exploring the surrounding areas

Cosy cottage in Cairngorms with hot tub and sauna

XanderRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place saved our holiday! We were camping in the Cairngorms and ended up with a catastrophic failure of our tent on the second night. Booked this beautiful cottage at 3:30am and checked in just over 12 hours later! Communication from Laura was fab, and she was always on hand with any queries we had. Delightful little cottage, and the bonus of a hot-tub and sauna made for a very different holiday than we had planned in a soggy tent. Would highly recommend, and would certainly look to go back if we stay in this part of Scotland again

Wild Farm Cottage

HarveyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Truly “off grid” in the literal sense! It runs on batteries and a generator!! Despite it not having wifi we all had great 4G so never felt truly disconnected thankfully. It’s such a private place with literally nobody for a square mile or more probably. I would say in the winter you will need a 4x4 to access as it’s a mile down a dirt track! Amazing place and can’t wait to revisit :)

Roualeyn - a Charming Farm Cottage, on the Deveron

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely property with all necessary amenities set in a stunning rural location. Perfect for dog owners with riverside walks 10 minutes from doorstep. Exploring Moray and Aberdeenshire coast and countryside is all to hand. Great beaches, restaurants, golf courses and local attractions only 20 minutes drive away. Despite being immensely busy out on farm Gale was just fantastic and gave all the help and advice when ever needed. Home from home for me in a real uncommercial location.

Perfect place! We had a wonderful stay at Sheila’s cottage. It is beautiful, in a peaceful location with incredible views. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed. Everything provided was great quality and the place was spotless. Comfy beds, great coffee machine and a lovely welcome gift. We are regular visitors to the area as we have family near by, we will absolutely be checking availability here first when planning our next trip.

Glenlivet@Bluefolds, Moray, Cairngorms, Scotland

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Bluefolds for my Dad's 70th. The view from the property is spectacular and ever changing, and you'd never get bored of that alone! Sue was a wonderful host, very welcoming and proactive. The accommodation has everything you could need for a stay there. Take your walking boots, make sure your pets are treated for ticks (as its on a sheep farm), and have an incredible time :)

Holiday Cottage in beautiful Speyside

AngieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lyn of Sheval Croft is a piece of heaven on Earth. It was incredibly charming inside and sitting in the dome in the evening watching the sunset was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses roam in the field behind the house. Jennifer was a great host giving us incredibly detailed instructions that made our stay seamless. She also provided fantastic recommendations for in home whiskey tasting by Steve and local in home meal delivery by Mac & Cat. We hope to make it back to Speyside and would absolutely stay here again!

Cosy, hideaway cottage in 2 acres of forest!

LaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely peaceful place to stay. We loved the resident deer, the sound of the birds, the rabbits and the area was really beautiful with a few nature reserves just down the road. The cottage itself is very tiny, but has a lovely history. The WiFi works but is a little patchy but that's to be expected in rural Scotland. Cat (the owner) is very responsive and helpful.

Cosy City Retreat • Private Garden • Peaceful

Burc IdemRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a lovely stay, one that will be remembered for a lifetime thanks to Gillian's local recommendations (supplied in a clipboard). In addition, she was kind enough to allow us leave our luggages until our ferry's departure. The cottage looked the same as in photos but so far as its cleanness is concerned everything is even better. This indeed is a safe haven located in the pulping heart of the city. Thanks again!

Bell View Cottage

PetraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Bell View Cottage for just one night, but if we had known how lovely both the cottage and Gardenstown were, we definitely would have stayed longer. There were three of us, and the fold-out bed in the living room worked perfectly alongside the bedroom setup. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a modern interior and has everything you might need. It was also spotlessly clean. We were able to load and unload the car right next to the church, and parking was available just a short walk down the hill. We had a delicious dinner at the Garden Arms Hotel and really enjoyed the local atmosphere. Communication with Shelly was excellent—she responded very quickly and was available for any questions throughout our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return for a longer visit next time.

Cosy and calm among the forests in Nethy Bridge

NicolaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a great place to stay. The hosts were wonderful and communicative. When we had a slight problem with the fire. they came and helped immediately. As soon as we entered, felt right at home, and then extended an extra night. Everything is in the pictures and it’s actually better. Great location for just walking and being at one with nature, even in the rain. One suggestion is the TV is very small and was challenging to watch TV. I think it would add a little bit more for a bigger TV specially on rainy days.

Forglen Estate -Garden Bothy Hideaway

ChristopherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful place to retreat to. My wife and I felt very much "at home" in the Garden Bothy and our old greyhound thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds. Exceptionally clean with everything needed for a week away and the welcoming basket with the individual shortbread biscuits was much appreciated. No guarantees but we did see a cheeky red squirrel a mystery Highland Coo.

Secluded luxury retreat on a country estate

DuncanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

Burnside Neuk, cosy cottage close to Cairngorms

BarbaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ben's place is tucked away just off the High Street and feels so private. The outdoor terrace is a great space and the house is really comfortable and very well equipped. We loved the independent local shops including a fantastic butcher, a farm shop selling local berries etc and there's loads to do within walking distance.
