Heaven on earth. Such a peaceful cottage, beautiful garden and stunning view. Cottage has all the amenities needed. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the cottage and the farm shop. Would love to return one day and would wholeheartedly recommend

Spacious ensuite pod with hot tub and large garden

KristinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our little pod felt like home right away. Tracy also came around, saying Hello and giving us a little more info. Inside we were greeted by a lovely smell and everything was cozy and clean. We heard birds chirping and bees buzzing and enjoyed the quiet. Big bonus was of course the hot tub outside! Also Dufftown is only a 20 minute walk away, so you can leave the car and enjoy a dram of whisky. Clear recommendation!

Scotsview at Glenbeag Mountain Lodges

IzabelaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Absolutely amazing. Very clean and exactly as shown on pictures. I was a bit worried about being cold overnight but the heating was working very well and kept us warm at all times. Netflix wasn’t working- I guess it’s to with the rural area so it affects the internet connection. We weren’t aware of extra electricity charges until the arrival but that didn’t affect our stay what so ever. Everything was spot on. Thank you!

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

The Wee Red Roost

AdamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Hard to try and describe how wonderful The Wee Red Roost in 1000 characters. The location is stunning and the cabin is so well equipped and the hosts had thought of everything. Jen, the host, was brilliant whenever we contacted her. The highlights were our drive to the local farm shop, bakery and pub where we picked up some treats to bring home to the fire pit to be cooked(and drunk). Fantastic and would recommend!

Willow Straw Bale Cabin

SvetlanaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

Royal Snug With BBQ Cabin

WillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We felt The Royal Snug was, if anything, better than we were hoping for. We really enjoy this type of accommodation, it feels a bit different. It is cosy and modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Snug is in quite a large private garden which is well cared for, you can come and go as you please without disturbing anyone and there is plenty of space for parking close by. This was our first visit to this area and it is absolutely gorgeous. The countryside is amazing, the roads in good condition for driving and it’s quiet. People we met were very warm and friendly too.

Designer A-Frame Cabin, with Hot Tub, Mayen Estate

LucyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely time staying at MidPark for our honeymoon. The space is so nicely designed, and very private and peaceful, which was just what we needed. Ross was very helpful in helping us check in and sort a couple of minor issues when we first arrived; he is very knowledgeable and friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. We had a couple of day trips during our stay, but really enjoyed spending our time relaxing at the lodge and chatting to the cows in the field next door! We would love to stay here again in the future, if we're ever that far north again!

Lodge with beautiful views in the Cairngorms

Sally-AnnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Superb stay from beginning to end, watching the late sun setting behind the mountains with Hares playing in the field a bonus. We chose here as a central point for visiting the big attractions which worked well. Rebecca thanks for a memorable visit to the highlands your place ticked all the good boxes.

Farm stay in Nethy Bridge

Ptarmigan - Luxury Glamping Lodge

TomRating, 5 stars2 days ago
I had a wonderful few days in Speyside and the accommodation contributed so much to that. Alastair is friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfectly clean and, importantly for me, free of any strong fragrances or air fresheners to which I am allergic. I loved the wildflower meadow around the farm. It's a short walk from an historic church and ruined castle. Buses pass regularly. It is just outside Nethy Bridge which has a hotel, cafe, shop and visitor centre. It is on the edge of Abernethy forest, the largest native pine forest in Scotland. I would strongly recommend this accommodation.

Chapelton Bothy - Original granite bothy

LouiseRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The owners have squeezed every bit of space out of this bijou home, making a stylish and quirky holiday stay. It's in a lovely rural location, just a stones throw from the must-see attraction of Dunnottar Castle. Only a few minutes drive away is the town of Stonehaven with its quaint harbour, beach, boardwalk and outdoor pool. We think this home is most suited to couples, unless your family have aligned sleeping times. For us, a tween who expects a lie in and mum using a coffee machine at 6.30am only feet away didn't go down well as you are all in one small space! The home can accommodate 4 on the double sofa bed and mezzanine sleeping area (not suitable for younger children or the infirm as it's accessed via a ladder). The secure outside private garden is great if you are travelling with a dog. Plus there are lots of inside and outside games, books and DVDs to keep you occupied. The covered outdoor decking area was great, even when it was raining as it doubles the living space.
