Waterfront holiday rentals in Aalsmeer

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

We found the loft cozy and the view of the garden was beautiful. Brigitte always responded quickly. Perhaps in the future we will come back so that my husband can run in the dunes 😉

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

The accommodation was as described and Karine allowed us to change the arrival time The apartment on the 1st is nice and a breakfast was ready in the fridge. A supermarket and transport are nearby Only downside: the sofa bed was broken, fortunately it was children who slept in it.

The place is beautiful! We would return whenever possible, plenty of space and Chris is the best host!

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

If this listing is available, I recommend you book it, there is only positives to this place. Conveniently located with great views in a spacious and well decorated place, it felt like a home with reasonable setup for a baby (crib, gate at the stairs). Hosts are lovely and responsive. The place felt very safe.

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). We had a great time at Richard's house! The location is excellent, nice and quiet and with the lake of course great for refreshing. We rented the boat and also spent a nice time on the water and the larger lake. The house has everything you need, air-conditioned rooms were perfect on the hot days. Sitting together on the terrace by the lake in the evening, great! You can't go wrong with the house and would book it again and again.

Inge is a pleasant person and ready to help (offered to do laundry). Some sweets were waiting for us when we arrived. The accommodation is pleasant and good location. Recommended.

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

After a long day in Amsterdam, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in Broek in Waterland at Haico's. The house is cozy and offers everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a clean shower and a well-equipped kitchen where we could prepare our breakfast and make small meals such as pasta or sandwiches in the evening. The location is ideal for getting to Amsterdam quickly, and the bus connection is very good.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. However, our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

We were greeted by Remy in person and he showed us the apartment and explained the operation of the hot tub. He also gave us recommendations for the area. We were always able to reach him by message and he was very helpful. The apartment and the hot tub are very private, so you feel comfortable. In addition, the accommodation was super clean and fresh flowers set pleasant accents.

We enjoyed it very much. Nice hostess, great house, very clean, good location and nice amenities. We will be happy to come back.
