So you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with various homemade products. Due to its location, Hoeve de Bies is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. So you can shop, and experience culture in Valkenburg and Maastricht. In addition, there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes to explore the Heuvelland.

Through a private entrance you enter the kitchen / sitting room. Here you can cook, eat and spend the evening. Here are some original items that were used in the mine. You enter the bedroom through this living room. Behind a comfortable double bed you will see a photo wall of the former Staatsmijn Hendrik. This little paradise is located in Lierneux in the place called "Trou de Bra" in the heart of the Upper Ardennes, close to the waterfalls of Coo, Vielsalm, Stavelot and Malmedy, the land of carnivals. The perfect place to go on beautiful hikes in summer in a beautiful setting and ideal for cross-country skiing and enjoying the benefits of winter.
