Monthly Rentals in Zomergem

The host was helpful, chill and very kind. But he gives you your own space. So you don’t feel overwhelmed. Denize is a beautiful small city. Every week there’s a market, and there seem to be holiday markets too. The people are very friendly, and very interested and welcoming to foreigners which is nice! There’s a pub/dive bar called Trevi, I really recommend visitors to go to. The people are friendly, it’s a “locals bar”, so it’s a great place to get information / recommendations, and it’s only 3 minutes away. There’s a polish butchershop, and two grocery stores less than 5 minutes away. Denize seems to have an older population, but you’re only 30 minutes away from Ghent, giving you the best of both worlds. ( Small town vibes to rest at night, then a bigger university city for the weekends)

We had a lovely Easter weekend in this idyllic and very comfortable cottage within a short drive of Bruges and Ghent.

I enjoyed my stay at Martine's place. Martine is very welcoming, very kind and above all very accommodating for check-in times😉. Lots of information that was very helpful to us. And Ghent is a beautiful city and very accessible with buses in relation to Martine's house. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness
