From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. This beautiful house is located on a small island in Aalsmeer and can only be reached by water. Naturally, we provide you with a boat equipped with an electric outboard motor. If needed, we’ll teach you how to operate the boat and tie knots. Upon arrival, we’ll pick you up with our boat. Your adventure-filled stay begins here! There is also plenty of space to dock your own boat if you wish.
