The Cottage

A rustic cottage in the middle of Darthia Farm. The farm sits along the shore of West Bay and a short walking trail brings you from the cottage to the salt water. We grow organic mixed vegetables, herbs and flowers, raise sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, and work with Haflinger horses. We have a farm store that is open everyday except Tuesdays and Sundays. The property is 15 minutes away from the Schoodic Section of Acadia and is surronded is by countless hiking trails and access to fresh water.

Salmonwood Cottage is a two bedroom, one bathroom, rental nestled along the shore of Salmon Lake in Yarmouth County. You can enjoy all nature has to offer while benefiting from the comforts of modern living. The pet-friendly cottage comes with a washer/dryer, heat pump, woodstove, WiFi, Bell Satellite and can sleep up to four people. We are currently building on/renovating to add a larger living room, fireplace and an additional bedroom. I have the dates starting on September open for bookings. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with all white walls. Large windows and high ceilings allowing for great light.. The cottage is remote, quiet and perfect for relaxing. The cottage is a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth
