This is a private rental accommodation on a hill overlooking the horizon of the island of Yakushima, a world natural heritage site.Please relax in the spacious old house of 77 square meters with only your family and friends. There are few private houses around, and it is a quiet place surrounded by trees and creeks. You can also see the moon from the moon because you can see the sea facing east. The starry sky is also very nice. It is a 10-minute drive to Awa Town, which is convenient for shopping and dining.15 min drive to the popular Jomon Cedar climbing bus stop. If you have trouble renting a car without a rental car, you can share the owner's car (the Anyca app is only for those who use the Anyca app and live in Japan and have a Japanese license).It has a mini car and has a capacity of 4 people, so it is not pleasant to ride, but it is 4WD packed with a lot of luggage.Please share at the time of booking when you need us. * A license to drive in Japan is required.

This location is very quiet & secret place for vacation home. There is a small Tatami room like a tea celemony room that you can use as yoga, meditation etc. for your private time. However, no kitchen facility. We provide an electric pot,cups,small dishies, refrigerater,toaster, so you can bring some food etc. There is sea and forest view from the guest cottage. (back side is large tea plantation) Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.

Two natural outdoor hot spring Onsens - Harauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes drive away. There is also some hiking, swimming and snorkelling spots close by. Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

Miyanoura Port Convenience: Riverside Entire home

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.
