"Hidden Land ~ Kamihara Seiryu" "Grandmountain Park, Gemeinde, Gemeinde, Japan", a separate building, a mineral spring, a large public bath, breakfast included

Taiji-San is an awesome host! He is super friendly and communicates well in English, and makes us feel at home right away. It’s a traditional Japanese house and we get the experience of living in a traditional Japanese house, sleeping in futons on tatami floor. The futons are very comfortable and I don’t wake up having any back aches. The highlight of the stay has to be the incredible dinner that Taiji-San whipped up for us! It’s a 10-course Kaiseki dinner prepared by Taiji-San himself who is a trained French Chef. The stay also came with traditional Japanese breakfast. Highly recommended. The weather was rainy and cold but we didn’t have to worry as the air-conditioner is able to provide heating. There’s is not much to explore on foot, but it is a really good stay if you drive and plan to explore Aso. Will definitely come back again if we are visiting Aso!

Bed in Mixed Dorm / ドミトリー | Izumiya Hostel Ogawa

めいゆうりんRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Good news: As a solo traveler, he politely told me about local recommended spots such as hot springs and izakayas. It had cooking utensils, a refrigerator, a microwave, a pot, chopsticks, spoons, and condiments that you can use as if you were at home, and we had a very comfortable stay. Also, on the last day, we got to know each other from abroad and enjoyed sightseeing together, and the area where we accidentally lived was close, so we had a nice chance to go home to Fukuoka together. It was also impressive that it felt like a home away from home. This hostel is especially recommended for solo travelers.Thank you very much. Worried about: There were some things we understood beforehand, so there was no particular problem. To put it bluntly, I was a little troublesome where I put my clothes when I used the bath. The location above didn't reach me.Other than that, I'm very happy.

Underground prison 地下牢部屋 【民泊カフェ】Gootarian

PetraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Haru and Nobu were very warm and welcoming. We were able to park a car before check in which was realy convinient. Staying at the inn was amazing. It was pure art and unique. We loved the prison room and all the details and thought that went into designing the place. We had a drink at the bar and hang out with hosts and other guests till late, it was truly one of the best experiences we had in Japan even if it was just for 1 night. Location was great, public transport is close. We will come again.

熊本城の見える女性専用の小さな素泊まり宿 Female exclusive use Hostel

The whole house was so thoughtful! There were details everywhere and felt cured as soon as you came back every day.Feel the owner is very professional, all the lights in the house are induction, a vending machine for towels and toothbrushes, the paid washing pearl is made with a gacha machine, convenient and fun, self-service. Location: About a 20-minute walk from Kumamoto Station, you will pass through Shirakawa, I still love that part of the road, the most magical is a person who feels so poorly oriented, just walked and remembered the road.Stayed for a few days really has a feeling of knowing your own home. it's really convenient to stay near Kumamoto station. You can eat and get around at Kumamoto station. Basically, the daily itinerary from Kumamoto station to the end of Kumamoto station. It is convenient to go to Aso and Yufuin. It is very suitable as a base place. Room: I live in a single room, there are four single rooms on the first floor, there are two shared rooms upstairs, up to 12 people can stay at the same time.Tri-fold mattress on tatami (a bit too soft with back pain), but personally love that pillow and don't know what material is filled. The room is small and low, there is no space for activities, and it may not be open with a lot of luggage. The more amazing is the common space, the kitchen and living room are super nice, and there is also a terrace and drying area in Kumamoto City upstairs, so you can spend more time resting in the common area. Because of the material structure of the room, the soundproof and blackout is about 0, it is recommended to bring your own earplug, but the people staying here are very consciously keeping their hands light, so they don't feel noisy at all. Facilities: There are two bathrooms on the second floor, shampoo conditioner body soap, outside there are cotton swabs, hair dryer, and individual weighing hhh.Toilet and washroom on each floor.Fully Stocked Kitchen.Laundry 300yen (one wash pearl).

Emi, This is a beautiful apartment/home. So thoughtfully furnished with excellent aesthetics. It had all the modern amenities but still has that Japanese touch. She was a perfect host though we never got to meet her. The location would be perfect to visit Mt Aso and surroundings. Quite a few restaurants in walking distance. In one word “ Awesome” I would say a wonderful find. Thanks again Emi for your hospitality Warm regards Sashi, Yvonne and Ketan

3. No sharing, 7-minute walk to downtown Kumamoto City, 7-minute bus ride from Kumamoto Station, newly built accommodation.

I chose it because it was near my friend's house, and the room was newly cleaned and clean. There was also a TV in the bathroom, and I thought the bedroom would be hot because there was only one AC, but it was comfortable. I would definitely like to stay again.Thank you!
