The atmosphere of the 116 sqm apartment is characterized by the terrazzo-like exposed aggregate floor in combination with the fine lime plaster of the surrounding walls. The spacious living area opens to the south and east with floor-to-ceiling window and door elements to an expansive wooden terrace, thus creating a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors, to the vastness of the Eiderstedt meadow landscape. The "norderdiekhuus," with its large, very well-equipped kitchen, the wide sofa by the window offering a panoramic view, and the three very cozy bedrooms on the upper floor, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, accommodates up to six guests. Renting the apartment along with another almost identically equipped apartment to the west also makes it very suitable for a joint vacation with friends or a larger family. The extendable wooden table seats up to 12 people - ideal for shared meals and convivial evenings.

A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Relax with the whole family and friends in this beautiful wooden house in a vacation home area. A spacious kitchen open to the living room with a direct terrace to the south includes everything you need. The sauna in the large bathroom promises relaxation, from the upper bedrooms you can reach the balcony directly. The North Sea, the ferry terminal to the islands and Halligen, the train for trips to Sylt or DK, restaurants and shops can be reached within minutes by foot.

Shepherd's wagon meadow lodge

Enjoy pure nature and stay in our shepherd's wagons (similar to tiny houses) in the middle of the sheep pasture. The cars are comfortably furnished with a full bathroom and small kitchen, so you won't miss anything. The shepherd's wagons are close to the main building of the Friesenhof - there you can take advantage of further amenities: breakfast, farm shop, wellness, children's paradise, bicycle rental, fireplace, etc. For 4 people, we will provide a stroller.

The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

Completely renovated and newly furnished at the end of 2025, the STEUERBORD apartment offers everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. The city center, the harbor and the nearest beach are all about 900 meters away.
