Our family (2 adults, 2 children) really enjoyed Amanda’s house. We especially enjoyed the covered patio and our children loved brining their toys outside. We were surprised how fast cars were driving on this road, but that has nothing to do with Amanda’s home - it just caught us off guard. We loved the added touches of coffee/tea, snacks, personal care products. It felt like we were at home.

Great cozy house, well appointed and good location. We really enjoyed the porch.. especially since we encountered a bit of rain. the porch allowed us to sit and chat when the rain limited our planned activities.

Bill was a great host and stopped by to say hi and explain things. The house was exactly as portrayed in the listing except it was much larger than one would think. We enjoyed being able to walk the restaurants downtown because we were riding motorcycles. Overall, a great place, good price, wonderful host.

Staying here was perfect! Everything was as described and the walking trails were a ton of fun! Definitely bring bug spray and be prepared for ticks but that’s a given in the woods! Regardless it was everything as described in the amenities and met if not exceeded our expectations!

Kaitlyn’s place was a great weekend getaway for a big group of my friends. When we think of going back down to Athens, we will definitely look for this stay again!

We enjoyed the Lockmaster House for our stay. The porch overlooking the river was so peaceful. There was plenty of space in the house and the location was great to walk for a meal or to stroll along the river.

Spacious enough for one or two people. I usually stay far away from anyone, but being behind their house really wasn't an issue. 20 minutes outside Athens. Check out the nearby rural grocery store, which still has a non-electronic gas pump!

I’m a return guest and have absolutely loved every stay at Water’s Edge. Deni’s place is clean, cozy, and welcoming. Close to hiking at local State Parks and nature preserves, a short drive to local shops and restaurants in Athens, and a lovely, peaceful oasis to enjoy if you want to stay in. Deni is a thoughtful and friendly host who I feel privileged to have met and chatted with on several occasions. I will keep coming back as often as I can. Highly recommend!

Syd was so considerate as to meet us with an umbrella because it was raining when we arrived! She is truly a delight and a great host. Her space is homey and welcoming. We would love to stay again :)

Beautiful downtown stay. Exactly as described. Great location. Comfortable stay

My wife and 5 year old felt very comfortable here. It was a good place to walk dogs, as well, and it's close to downtown Point Pleasant and in the opposite direction there are several pizza restaurants and some other conveniences for things you might need. We loved the British vibe, and my kid enjoyed looking at all the MG stuff. It was very quiet there and the bed, sofa and chairs were really comfortable. Bob is a friendly fellow. Will stay there again.

We loved our time here! We enjoyed walking the beautiful property, seeing all of the flowers and gardens Natalie is growing, sitting by the pond and visiting the animals. We look forward to coming back again!

We had a wonderful time at Gretchen’s place in Athens! It was private, comfortable, and beautiful inside and outside. We loved the natural light and the amazing wraparound porch. Highly recommend!

Overall a great stay. Area was peaceful and the river overlook was beautiful. Checkin/checkout was pretty easy. Only downsides was the bathroom - 1.5ba for 10 people required some coordination!

You can’t get any closer to the Ohio River than this place. Beautiful views & it was very comfortable. We had a small issue with the internet, but called Max & they took care of it within minutes. We loved Marietta, so we’ll be seeing you there next time.

We had an amazing stay at Ashleys! We were here to celebrate a graduation and it was the perfect stay. The place was spacious, clean, and very close to uptown. We will definitely be back, we loved it!
