The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Within a 15-minute bike ride (bikes available for hire), you can be at Potten Beach or in the bustle of the city, while on your return you'll once again enjoy the tranquillity of the Frisian countryside. The perfect blend of vibrancy and relaxation. This free-standing húske is stylishly and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort.

Located directly on the water, there is every opportunity to rent boats, canoes, bicycles or a sup. The farm is located on the Zuiderzeepad and many bicycle junctions. The spacious apartment has 2 separate bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Optionally, a third bedroom/studio can be booked separately, only in combination with the apartment. Ideal for a holiday or home office use. Entrance, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Close to supermarket, the city centre, Harlingen beach and Vlieland & Terschelling ferry terminal. There is paid parking available in the street or at Spoorstraat parking (150 m). Indoor parking for bicycles available upon request.
