This little hidden gem makes for the perfect getaway weekend. it's so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Hearing the sounds of the rushing water through the creek right off the front porch was very nice. the horses were beautiful, This place is definitely on my list for a return visit.

It was super fun! My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend to get away from Dallas. We went to the casino that’s like 20-30 minutes away, some super cute restaurants with live music and the local coffee shop. The community is friendly and the weather was great! Only thing is beware at random intervals there’s a sprinkler that goes off and shoots the trees and it was horrifying in the middle of the night lol. No bears or animals just a sprinkler if your out long you’ll see it.

The cabin is awesome! Perfect for a stay while riding the Trails. Private as well! Most camps in the area have cabins on top of each other. Don and Candy were great hosts and we will be happy to stay again!! The hottub and outside lighting provides a nice vibe if youre trying to relax at night. 6 of 5 ⭐️!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Heath’s place! The views were amazing, and it was just “out there” enough for what we wanted in our little weekend family getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub (which is covered and just across the gravel drive from the house) and the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the lake! It was definitely buggy, so bring your bug spray and repellant devices for outside time! This is a total me-thing and not a criticism of Heath, but the house does not have ceiling fans! There is a box fan in the bedroom to compensate, but for fan addicts like myself, this might matter! :) I was very appreciative of the consideration to supply the box fan. Bathrooms were clean and nice, water pressure and temp was great. The beds are modest - Queen size I think - but extremely comfy! All in all a great stay! There were spices, dishes, and adequate utensils in the kitchen, but no storage supplies like ziplocks or plastic wrap so plan ahead if you’ll be cooking! Thanks so much Heath!

The cabin and was amazing. We did a lot of fishing on the first day and explore nearby hiking trails on the second day. We cooled breakfast every morning and grilled Avery night. It was perfect.

Wow! What a wonderful place. It's surrounded by beautiful forest and wildlife. Truly peaceful and quiet. The cabin itself is decorated so perfectly with terrific natural details. We enjoyed all of our activities in the area but, I'm not going to lie, we were always looking forward to getting back to the cabin. They have really created a little slice of paradise. We can't wait to come back again and see the new cabin they are working on. It was awesome for our family trip but would be great for a couple's getaway as well. If it's available during your stay in Mena, do yourself a favor and book it. Absolutely fantastic!

We had an incredible stay at Kiamichi Mountain Villa! The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that are even better than the pictures. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed for two nights and were thrilled to receive an extra night free, as promised by the amazing superhost, Chad. Chad’s communication was impeccable, he was so responsive and helpful that it felt like he was right next door, just a text away. We had an unexpected issue with a flat tire and were worried about finding help in such a remote, quiet hilltop location with limited network coverage. However, Chad rescue immediately by texting us the directions the address. We can’t express how impressed we were with Chad’s care, combined with the beauty of this villa, made it the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. We wish we could’ve stayed longer, and we will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommend this place—it’s truly a slice of paradise. -Noor

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Pines! The cabin was warm and welcoming, it is well docked with everything you could need for your stay. I’m fairly particular about where we choose to stay and I would absolutely recommend Jody’s place with no hesitations. We hope to stay again if we’re back in the area!

Mark has the nicest place in the whole area and we are definitely planning to come back. The view from the back porch is definitely a million dollar view 🙏🏼🤙🏼

Sharon was very responsive about any questions. This place is very secluded and quiet. Cabin was just as described. Was just outside of town if you needed anything. It was a little bit of a ride to get WPG.

This makes our third time staying here. The little cabins are perfect for a stop over to our destination. I love I can bring my pet and Chubbys up the road has the best nachos.

We had a great stay! The cabin was exactly as advertised — secluded, peaceful, and just like the pictures. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils, plus a nice selection of coffee and some thoughtful snacks. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. The property is spacious and quiet — our dogs loved having room to explore safely. The views from the deck were stunning. The fire pit was a big part of our evenings, and the color packets provided for the fire were a huge hit with the family. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, pet-friendly getaway in nature.

My family and myself really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The place is very nice; clean; the kitchen is well equipped with pans, utensils, coffee pods (a plus) and a variety of spices. Communication with Rick is great and he is very friendly; he even went out of his way to provide us with a fishing rod!

The cabin is exactly like thevouctures shown and as described. It’s so quiet and peaceful and the firepit is awesome! The cabin is clean, cute and cozy. Melissa was very helpful and offered assistance if we needed it! We had a great stay and plan to go back again soon!

I had a wonderful stay at Genelle’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. Genelle was an excellent host: friendly, responsive, and attentive to every detail. The space was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway!

My husband and I stayed for one night, but we agreed that we would absolutely be back and would stay up to a week. The cabin was beautiful and in a perfect location for anyone who would like to see the Talimena state Park. The busy road was quite worrisome for noise, but once we got inside we really couldn't hear anything. It was the best getaway for my husband and I after having our second child. Anyone who enjoys peace and quiet and nature will absolutely love it here! Junie was very quick when I messaged her about anything. It said her average response time was three hours, but I was hearing back before that average time. The hot tub was absolutely perfect for when it got chilly at night time. we can't wait to book our next stay here ❤️

THE VIEW!! It was definitely the view for me! So peaceful and serene. The place was very neat and clean. All essentials were provided. We did not have to leave to go get anything. We brought our own food, stayed in and cooked our own meals. The internet was slow, but to be honest this is not where you go if you're planning to spend a lot of time on the internet. Instead, this was a fantastic place to unwind and unplug. We played a variety of traditional games with each other instead of consuming more online content. We got back to basics...we laughed, talked and enjoyed the fellowship. This was a real retreat! A place to refresh and rejuvenate ourselves!!

Cathy was an amazing host! She was quick to answer questions and give recommendations or important info. We had the most peaceful honeymoon at the Lofted Pine and it was perfect!

If I could give a 10-star review, I would. I absolutely loved this location. It was exactly what my husband and I needed for a peaceful, private and very remote vacation stay. David is a wonderful host. I appreciate him sharing this beautiful property with those of us who don't have access to such a private and remote location. While I loved the inside of the cabin, I was really drawn to the surroundings. I had real hard time sitting still for very long as I explored the inner yard and then outer yard of the property. Such a wonderful space. I really did not want to leave. The cabin was clean and beyond well stocked with all the amenities you need to keep a person comfortable. David was very responsive to any question I had or issue that may have popped up (power went out due to storms), but no biggie. I really all the action figures that were hidden here and there amongst the trees. They were positioned like guardians on the lookout. Very clever! Thank you, David!

Linda and Allen's place is absolutely gorgeous, if you're looking to go somewhere relaxing, private and very peaceful to get away from the world for a bit this is definitely the place , we were greeted by three mustangs shortly after arrival, the next day we were greeted by a herd of eight and we even had a cow stop by to visit. Linda even has the kitchen fully stocked with anything and everything you can think of that you would need all you need to bring is your food. we were able to take a walk in the creek, the sounds of the trickling water and nature are just so relaxing. I would say this place was just as described, maybe even better! Thank you Linda and Allen for sharing your little piece of paradise with us, we will definitely be staying again!

Beautiful home in a quiet relaxing area. The house is very clean and set up well-they kind of thought of everything in the layout. Updated electronic amenities along with a beautiful esthetic. Unfortunately, we had to be in Fort Smith for a lot of our stay but it was a wonderful place to come back to and relax-our son really loved the pond! Very responsive host and although we didn't need anything b/c everything we needed was provided, I have no doubt he would have made it happen. He met us at check in and even helped us get our luggage to the house!
