A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Our barrier-free apartment was extensively renovated in 2025/2026 and offers modern living comfort. The adjustable underfloor heating ensures a pleasant room climate. The bathroom has a spacious rain showers. In the kitchen there is a coffee machine, stove and dishwasher. The living room with smart TV and Wi-Fi invites you to relax. Public parking is right by the property. Hiking trails, regional train station and shopping in Wissen are within walking distance.

The minimalist design makes the apartment a place of rest. Forest and meadow border the small mountain village and give the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Our nearby “Windbusch” - the local “mountain” - offers one of the distant views for which our area is so much appreciated. From up here you can't see Cologne Cathedral, but at least the Siebengebirge. The proximity to Cologne makes our village particularly attractive, as the city is only 30 km away.

Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.
