Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Winterthur District

Very nice stay for a larger group of people. Lovely views and calm / quiet neighborhood. Very easy to access the train into Zurich and elsewhere. Overall a great stay! The only mild inconvenience was the fact that there is only one toilet and one shower, so if staying with a large group, take that into account.

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Charming place and highly recommended to capture the essence of life in Switzerland

We were on vacation and rented this house and it was one of the best decisions!. We were very pleased! The house is clean, cozy and very well appointed. We especially liked the beautiful garden and the quiet location. The kids had plenty of space to play, and we were able to really enjoy the time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They navigated us well and educated us about everything without asking us. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to come back!

Our three day stay at Martina's cottage was some of the most beautiful we had ever experienced! Certainly: The fantastic spring weather with the sparkling nature has cleared a wonderfully colorful ambience into the garden around the house. But we agreed that this cottage is the dream location even in foggy or rainy weather to feel comfortable and relax. In this way lovingly furnished down to the last detail and also sparkling clean: we can only recommend Martina's dream cottage to everyone and we will definitely come back!

Thierry’s place was wonderful! We spent 5 full days there and absolutely loved it. It’s in the beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Zurich city center. Plenty of space and we loved using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Would absolutely stay there again! One thing to note - do not ask for them to call you a taxi as they charged us 130 Swiss francs when an Uber is only about 40.

Great house, in a nice very green setting, adapted to families, perfectly equipped. Responsive smooth communication. Only small surprise: a few planes passages some days just above the house.

Helen's apartment is really nice. Quietly located in a small village above Lake Zurich. You will find everything you need. The beds were also very comfortable and the apartment has its own charm. We will be happy to come back.

My wife and I enjoyed our visit in Zurich. Duri was a great host.

I was the second time at Eluard's place. It still very nice, quite, but very close to the city center and the main station, takes some minutes to the Hardbrücke station, and there is always a train within some minutes to the center. Also groceries stores and restaurants are in walking distance from the apartment. The apartment has its own entry directly from the street, so it feels like a city home. I can only recommend it.

Very nice two-level apartment in a historic house. Nice view of Untersee directly opposite the back door. Very well equipped. Great location in the middle of Berlingen, which is small but has a couple of really nice restaurants, a good bakery and a quality butchers. Marco and Sara were fantastic friendly hosts, with great communication!

If you want to get some distance from the noise of the big city, this is the place for you ! A beautiful house in a quiet little village surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect for walking and relaxing 👍🏼

This apartment was a gem in a lovely valley town. The apartment was spacious, clean, bright and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable, and laundry was an extra bonus. The view from the dining room into the garden and mountains in the background is spectacular. The school house history of the apartment was very interesting and unique. The hosts were very responsive, helpful and so friendly. The apartment is conveniently located close to the station, stores and bus stop for exploring in the valley. There is so much beautiful hiking right from the doorstep. We would definitely love to return again.

The accomodations were exactly as described and comfortable. Our host Muriel was very accommodating to our needs and responded quickly to our messages.

Alex was an amazing host and was very warm and welcoming. We felt right at home and were excited to see the very well stocked kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable and the whole house was so clean. Alex’s instructions were clear. The house is very close to Zurich station by train and a 7 minute walk from Dietikon station. Easily accessible and quiet. The house is spacious and beautiful and has everything one would need. Alex was so kind even when we broke a table lamp by mistake. He got it replaced the very next day and declined any payment. We would be happy to stay here again and 100% recommend to other guests.

We had a girls weekend! Was a great place to stay, nicely secluded and right by the forest. Perfect for hikes.

Our stay with Livia was just perfect! Already upon arrival, we immediately felt comfortable – the accommodation is not only immaculately clean, but furnished with an incredible amount of love for detail. You can tell that Livia is a host with heart and passion. The location is very private and ideal to relax in peace and leave everyday life behind you. An absolute highlight was the breakfast: prepared with so much care and simply outstandingly delicious! Livia's hospitality was impressive – she was always friendly, helpful and pleasantly reserved so we could fully enjoy our stay. We can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to her and will be happy to come back!

The location, the well-kept garden with seating, the direct lake access, the conservatory with cheminee, the kitchen, the sauna with shower, the toilets are GREAT!!! The bedroom and the living room are small, but comfortable. What didn't work: hot tub and TV. But it wasn't a big deal for us. We had a sensational time and would be happy to come back.
