Spread over two floors the open ground floor contains a small fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area with large wood burner. There is a private outdoor area for your enjoyment. Upstairs has a super king size bed and ensuite bathroom. All bedlinen is 100% cotton with down duvet, pillows soft towels and lots of wardrobe space.

Penny Cottage is in the heart of the former Saxon town of Winchcombe. It is a traditional Cotswold cottage with a working inglenook fireplace. It is on the Cotswold Way and has access to miles of country walks. Sudeley Castle, the resting place of the only Queen of England to be buried outside a royal palace, is within walking distance. A variety of pubs and restaurants can all be found within a 5 minute walk. The town also boasts a variety of independent shops, and two small supermarkets.

Our 200 year old cottage provides the perfect getaway for walkers, cyclists, families or those just wanting some time to unwind and explore the beautiful Cotswold country side. Although the accommodation has been recently refurbished with a new kitchen and bathroom it still retains a wealth of original features including exposed oak beams, stone walls and wood floors. Pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, Sudely Castle are within walking distance. Cheltenham race course is 6 miles away.

There is a cosy lounge for relaxing. A TV player is provided .On the first floor are is a twin-bedded room, a double-bedded room and a bathroom. Muir Cottage has been converted from an 18th Century barn to a design inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement that established in the Cotswolds in the 19th Century, resulting in an array of stone mullioned windows, exposed beams and period furnishings.
