Hi Mark and Liz, Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. We had the most wonderful break away. The house is amazing, and exceeded all of our expectations! From the beautiful decor to the extremely well equipped kitchen and the post card views, we couldn't have asked for any better. Your care, hospitality and kindness goes wat beyond and was so appreciated. This is "so long" and definitely not "good bye" as we will be back. Kind regards The Fouché Family

I would love to say our stay was terrible and keep this amazing spot a secret, but it was stunning! Diane and guest support team were amazing! Our short stay was fill of discovery really thoughtful little touches: Easter eggs on bed, calming music playing as arrived, bag of wood complimentary, marshmallows and skewers in cupboard, cold water in fridge etc.

Dit verblijf was buitengewoon fantastisch!! Super vriendelijke host, proper, uiterst gezellig, prachtig uitzicht, wakker worden met het geluid van de zee op de achtergrond, ´s avonds zalig in de hottub,... Een huisje om gewoon 100% te genieten van elkaar!

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Michèle en hebben ook de kans gekregen kennis te maken met haar liefdevol gezin. De plek zit zo’n 4km rijden van de N2 hoofdweg op een grintweg. Met een kleine wagen rij je dat stukje best op het gemak maar dat is met wat geduld perfect te doen :-). Eens toegekomen, kom je terecht in een oase van rust midden in het woud. Het is een perfect plekje om tot rust te komen én het dient tegelijk met als uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen naar regio Plettenberg (25min rijden naar het begin van de baai). Passeer wel best langs de supermarkt als je er de eerst dag toekomt. Je kan de eerste avond dan gezellig koken in het huisje en hoef je de weg niet meer op :-).

Our stay was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived in Ballots Bay we were completely captivated by the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings. Nestled in a nature reserve, the home feels like a secluded haven, with breathtaking views at every turn. The accommodation itself is elegant and thoughtfully curated – a perfect blend of comfort and style. Both bedrooms offer stunning views, allowing us to wake up each morning to the sight and sound of the ocean. The bathroom was a particular highlight, with its sweeping sea views from both the bath and the shower – an experience we won’t soon forget. Sally has created a truly special space that allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the serenity of Ballots Bay. We loved every minute and left feeling completely rejuvenated. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty.
