Holiday houses in Wilderness

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a very pleasant apartment in a beautiful location. We would highly recommend staying at No 41 Laguna Grove.

Hi Mark and Liz, Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. We had the most wonderful break away. The house is amazing, and exceeded all of our expectations! From the beautiful decor to the extremely well equipped kitchen and the post card views, we couldn't have asked for any better. I would love to say our stay was terrible and keep this amazing spot a secret, but it was stunning! Diane and guest support team were amazing! Our short stay was fill of discovery really thoughtful little touches: Easter eggs on bed, calming music playing as arrived, bag of wood complimentary, marshmallows and skewers in cupboard, cold water in fridge etc.

Such a lovely stay! Perfect location, will definitely visit again!

We were warmly welcomed by Michèle and also had the opportunity to meet her loving family. The place is about a 4km drive from the N2 main road on a gravel road. With a small car, you can drive that piece at ease, but that is perfect to do with some patience:-). Once you arrive, you will find yourself in an oasis of peace in the middle of the forest. It is a perfect place to relax and at the same time serves as a base for getting off to the Plettenberg region (25min drive to the beginning of the bay). Pass by the supermarket if you get there the first day. You can cook the first night in the cottage and you don't have to go on the road anymore:-).

Our stay was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived in Ballots Bay we were completely captivated by the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings. Nestled in a nature reserve, the home feels like a secluded haven, with breathtaking views at every turn. The accommodation itself is elegant and thoughtfully curated – a perfect blend of comfort and style. Both bedrooms offer stunning views, allowing us to wake up each morning to the sight and sound of the ocean. The bathroom was a particular highlight, with its sweeping sea views from both the bath and the shower – an experience we won’t soon forget. Sally has created a truly special space that allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the serenity of Ballots Bay. We loved every minute and left feeling completely rejuvenated. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty.
