Monthly Rentals in Wilcote

We had a fabulous few days here. The studio was perfect for us: close to Oxford and easy to get to the park and ride, but also in a very peaceful, quiet hamlet with some lovely walks and wildlife. The studio was spotless and had everything we could have asked for and more. Charlotte and Jo are wonderful hosts who made sure we had everything by we needed and were very helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

I and my guests absolutely loved our stay at Rosamund’s property. The property was a great place to enjoy slow mornings and evenings. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, the quiet of the village, and the cosy fireplace. We found the location to be a great base to explore the rest of the Cotswolds by foot and car. There are some great attractions both local and a little further out. Rosamund greeted us on our first night and gave us some amazing recommendations to avoid tourists traps. Outside of that first meeting we had complete privacy to enjoy the property - not that we wouldn’t have loved to bump into Ros again! I’d absolutely love to go back and stay again. I hope I will!

We stayed at Indira's place in the peaceful village of North Leigh for two nights. The bungalow is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, the local Post Office/Shop that stocks essentials is a short walk away. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable for our party of four, including an 84 year old. The only minor issue experienced was accessing the shower, which is situated over the bath. The town of Witney, that has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, is approx. 10mins drive away, be careful of the 20mph speed restrictions! Woodstock and Blenheim Palace approx. 15mins by car and Jeremy Clarkson's Farmer's Dog pub and restaurant around 20mins travel time. We would highly recommend Indira's bungalow and look forward to visiting again.

Lovely cottage, just like the photos! Highlights included a clean spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Easy to find and clear instructions given on how to access the cottage / use the facilities provided :)
