Our cozy B&B is located on the Spanjaardslaan. One of the most beautiful streets in Leeuwarden. In three minutes you can walk through the Prinsentuin to the center of the historic city of Leeuwarden. The guesthouse is located behind the house from 1906 and has its own entrance, living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The guesthouse is completely self-sufficient. Due to the combination with the cozy living room and kitchen, the guesthouse is ideal for a family or group of four friends.

Welcome to Pakhús 1879, this historic building in the heart of Leeuwarden is just a 10 minute walk from the station & 3 minutes from car park Hoeksterend (7€ p/d, 24/7 exit). The bustling centre of the European Capital of Culture 2018 is literally around the corner. The apartment of no less than 100m2 is equipped with all comforts: kitchen, 55 inch TV with comfortable sofa & salon table, bathroom with bath & a spacious bedroom with king size bed for a good night's sleep.

Sleeping at the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Wake up to the view of the dining room of a herd of horses that live in freedom, 2 pigs who make their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. However, there is a large table to play games with each other and a lovely sofa to have a glass of wine together. Making beautiful memories together together! Possibly tandem, boat and beautiful animal experiences to book!

The apartment Út fan hús has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with fridge and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The town of Sneek is a 15-minute drive away, while Leeuwarden is a 30-minute drive away.

Close to the city centre of Leeuwarden is Woodpecker, a spacious and bright 100 m² bungalow. You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. The bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. Woodpecker Leeuwarden can also be booked via its own site. We are entering the last season to start again somewhere else. The new residents have other plans

From Home to Home (behind the Skating Factory)

‘Van Huis tot Thuis’ is located behind the ‘Oude Schaatsfabriek’ in the picturesque village of Wergea. Also known as “Our Village”. The authentic skating factory is located along the water and is also the parent house of the very first Elfstedentocht winner ‘Minne Hoekstra’. In the garden is one of the remaining workers' houses of the factory, called ‘From Home to Home’. A wonderfully hidden place! Discover Friesland from the water and rent the boat!

From this centrally located space everything is within reach. This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with many windows that overlook the famous Oldehove and the green, watery Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen-living room has all the facilities to cook a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a cot and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free outdoor parking space and a separate indoor garage.

Sleeping in Klein Epema

10 minutes from Leeuwarden and 4 minutes from Grou is our rural farm in Idaerd. This fully furnished, modern apartment has all the comforts. The bathroom has a sink, a rain and hand shower and a toilet. There is an equipped kitchen equipped with an induction stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and combi microwave/oven. Smart TV, Nespresso, kettle are available. Kitchen, bathroom and bed linen are provided.

This former transformer house has been around the beautiful Frisian village of Wirdum for over 100 years. It has been converted into a beautiful trekking cabin with great care and attention. You could also call it a tiny house, because despite the small space, it is equipped with almost every comfort. In the village you will find a cafe/restaurant and a small supermarket with bread from the hot bakery.
