The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. The city of Sneek is 15 minutes away by car, Leeuwarden 30 minutes.

This former transformer house has been around the beautiful Frisian village of Wirdum for over 100 years. It has been converted into a beautiful trekking cabin with great care and attention. You could also call it a tiny house, because despite the small space, it is equipped with almost every comfort. In the village you will find a cafe/restaurant and a small supermarket with bread from the hot bakery.

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).
