Perfect place to stay in the woods. Planning on coming back again!

We stayed at Betty’s place to go skiing on Mt Washington. It’s the perfect place to launch an adventure in the Presidential Range from, and easy walking distance to our favorite restaurant and brewery, Big Day Brewing.

Everything about the red star retreat was perfect! It is perfectly situated, easy access to several attractions. There is a lovely cafe right around the corner for delicious coffee. Julia, the host, was so polite and responsive. Checking in and out was a breeze. But the one things that really stood out was how well stocked the kitchen was! The garlic press and cast iron skillet made all the difference with cooking! We will definitely be returning.

This was a very comfortable little base of operations for a winter hiking and skiing trip to the Whites. Simple but complete bathroom and bedroom, and excellently furnished kitchen. There can be some noise that carries between the Airbnb and main part of the house. I came across the hosts a few times as I was coming and going and they were nice and friendly, I almost felt as if I was visiting friends by the end.
