Beautiful cabin decor throughout. The lower level theater room was really fun. Pet friendly and really nice views off the back deck. Thank you for a really nice stay, we want to come back in the Winter.

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was immaculately clean — truly spotless — and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the management had gone above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Communication was excellent throughout our stay, and VRA team was both responsive and considerate. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience — we would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the stay at Tina's place. Her house is in a quite neighborhood and very close to the sugar pine point state park. Tina provided very detailed check-in instruction and the place is well-equipped (you can even use the bikes from the shed). We had an issue with the hot water from the shower and she quickly communicated back and arranged for the fix. I recommend to stay in this place.

If you’re looking for a peaceful nature retreat with friends and family—or a private, romantic escape to recharge with your partner—stop scrolling and book this place. You won’t find a better value, a more charming historic cabin, or a more thoughtful host near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. It was a one-of-a-kind stay we’re really glad we experienced.

Cabin was awesome. Cozy and comfortable. Modern upgrades and well stocked to enjoy an escape to natural, everything you need. Hot tub under the stars accentuated the experience. Walls of windows allowed full experience. Nestled in the redwoods. Highly recommend a stay.

This Airbnb was great. Would recommend anybody to stay here. I have 3 teens and there room was perfect for them. The host was amazing with communication, any questions or concerns we had she was right in top of responding back. Would stay here again in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough of this property and the host. We were so sad to leave! I adore A- frames and this one had all the charm. The property had an amazing view of the Lake and the hot tub made the view even better. I would absolutely return! I also cannot speak highly enough of the host, she was so kind and gave detailed recommendations which we utilized and enjoyed!

We had an awesome experience staying at Stefan’s cabin. It was a peaceful and relaxing retreat for the weekend. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet time away from the city.

Lauren’s Airbnb was the perfect spot for our Yosemite trip. It’s about a 10 minute walk into town and there are amazing local restaurants. It is also an hour and half away from the Yosemite entrance. The place itself was very clean and cozy!

Lindas A-frame is adorable!!! After traveling down from Montana, her cabin was perfect for relaxing & bed beyond comfortable. Lindas home is very accomodating...everything you need. I would definitely stay again and my family as well. Its a perfect retreat!! Very organized too!!!

We all loved the house, the surroundings, and peaceful/quiet setting. It was comfortable, clean, well stocked, etc. Everything regarding our stay was A+! The pool table was a big hit too. We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful & right on the river. The cabin has everything you need to kitchen supplies, plenty of linen, games and plenty of room. If you are looking for a family/friend getaway retreat this is the place. Our kids had a great time. Host is responsive.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ali’s rental in South Lake Tahoe, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location was fantastic, just a short drive away from a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking trails and beautiful beaches. It was perfect for anyone looking to explore the stunning natural beauty of the area. The rental itself was cozy and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. What truly set this experience apart was our host. They were incredibly welcoming and provided us with insightful recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and must-see attractions. Their insider tips allowed us to discover hidden gems that we wouldn't have found on our own. Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations. It offered both privacy and convenience, while our host’s knowledge and hospitality made our trip truly memorable. I would definitely return and encourage others to book this fantastic property.

We had a fantastic stay at Tadhg’s treehouse. It’s exactly as described—peacefully tucked away in nature yet just minutes from downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City. The house is thoughtfully designed, with charming details that make it feel like home among the trees. Every aspect is carefully considered to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Great house in close proximity to Lovers Leap for rock climbing. We had been on a 2 week road trip and stayed at many different AirBnBs. I almost want to redo all the other one’s ratings because this is the only one that really deserved 5 stars. It’s a proper home as opposed to some clinical company-managed places that feel more like a hotel or a hospital.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the cabin just as in the photos with all the amenities that were described. Everything worked; the TVs had many channels to choose from, board games, complimentary smore's stuff, Keurig coffee, and all the cooking necessities were there including spices, oils and some food. All the propane tanks for the outdoor fire and BBQ were full, the showers were clean, the bathrooms were spotless and the appliances were all new or near new. It was like stepping into a cozy dream cabin and we felt so cared for and looked after. We can tell that Christine truly cares about her visitors considering the detail and care she puts into making sure we were comfortable. She provided a local attractions list that was extremely helpful in locating fun things to do nearby and she even had a free entrance/parking pass for Jenkinson Lake!!! All in all a wonderful and memorable experience. We will be planning a winter escape to her cabin soon.

Twain Harte is a cute little town. We especially enjoyed the Mini Golf! Our host left us with great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. We mainly went to Yosemite, but I would spend more time in Twain Harte in the future. Cute A-frame cabin in a fantastic location!

The space was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions like Jenkins lake. I especially appreciated the private location of the house, its views, and all the games there. Communication with Maria was prompt and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Absolute perfection! A quaint country cottage on shared acreage but you are welcome to enjoy/use the main house and grounds. Quiet, charming, nicely kept up with a very much appreciated gift basket, morning coffee and mini fridge in room. Loved the fire stove to keep the night chill out and add a romantic ambience. Will definitely return if ever in need of a stay in the area - can't recommend enough!

First of all, I can’t say enough about the host. She is the best I have ever dealt with. Was running low on a few things and she responded and brought them immediately. The cabin itself is so cozy and homey. We we are from this area but have moved away and came back for a wedding. Really enjoyed staying there in the beauty of the trees and we even got a little thunderstorm. Love all the wildlife that comes around. A perfect place to stay iPollock Pines.

It’s clear Linda cares deeply about her clients’ experiences in the way she manages the property, the cabin and her communication. I so appreciated the detailed binder of local activity and restaurant recommendations. She gave me advance notice about potential inconveniences like local road work. all the comments about the bed are true, I slept like a rock. I could have sat on that deck listening to the creek, watching the aspens quake, enjoying the company of chickens for another week easily. Thank you Linda!
