Located in the town centre and very close to the harbour and abbey, Bumble Bee Studio is warm, comfortable and cosy. There is a kitchenette (with kettle, toaster, grill, microwave, sink and small fridge) and an en suite shower room. Parking place directly outside the property most of the time but I can't always guarantee it, especially at busy times. The studio is a perfect base for singles or couples who wish to explore this beautiful coastline. Limited head height (6' 4'').
“Had a lovely stay at the Bumblebee studio. Cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Felt like a home away from home! Julie has also compiled a nice big folder of attractions, maps and restaurants in Whitby which proved to be helpful too. The location was central with the added bonus of parking which was much appreciated as we came a long way and parking can be such a pain at the seaside! Hope to return again soon as it was a great experience. 10/10”
Beautiful, S/C apartment annexed to main house with private entrance. Adjacent to Pannett Park & 2 minutes from shops, pubs, restaurants, bus/train stations and 5 minutes walk to the beach, yet in a very peaceful location. Consisting of en-suite bedroom, lovely glass-roofed breakfast room (we provide local bread, tea, coffee, milk, juice, toaster -though NO COOKER). The bedroom leads onto a superb patio area within our tranquil Georgian garden......Perfect for a relaxing drink after a busy day!
“This Garden Apartment is amazing. So relaxing, sunny and cosy. Marie Louise's information prior to arrival was really useful and made finding it so much easier. The photos look great but the reality is even better. We didn't sit outside but I hope to return in the summer to make the most of the wonderful setting. The apartment is very comfortable and we spent longer in it having coffee and reading that we thought. A very relaxing, beautifully designed space. We were pleasantly surprised to find biscuits, bread jam, butter and fruit juice in the kitchen. We went out for breakfast but it was a very welcome thought. I come to Whitby a couple of times a year, usually with friends so we need a larger space but it has made me think about coming just as a couple more now, so we can stay here!”
Stylish one bedroom apartment off Flowergate in the heart of wonderful, bustling Whitby. Professionally designed to provide comfortable, high quality accommodation for two people. At the end of the yard so private and peaceful, a few steps from shops, cafes and some fabulous traditional pubs. Lovingly converted, the apartment is the ground floor of our four storey period home with its own entrance, high ceilings and south facing first floor terrace overlooking the garden and rooftops.
“Upon walking into this apartment we were both struck by how beautifully decorated it was! The place is so quirky and stylish, plus it immediately felt like home. The apartment is also in a great location, so close to the sea front and lots of lovely shops/restaurants/cafes. Carolyn was super helpful and responded to our enquiries really quickly! We hope to stay again in the near future.”
