Lovely place to stay! wonderful proximity to parks and hiking.

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird Suite - plenty of hummingbirds about and deer. Beautiful weather and lovely place for a few days away from city life. The suite was perfect, clean and comfortable. I recommend it. We’ll be back!

Sarah is a great host. We were able to check in a bit early. She had everything ready and gave us a quick run down of everything. The cabin is very comfortable. I truly enjoyed all the art that was around.

Place was exactly as described and clean. James provided local recommendations shortly after check in. The surroundings were quiet and beautiful!

Justin and Lauren’s home was very nice…clean and well appointed. Great parking…right outside the front door. Off the street. They are stellar at communication. Could not have been a faster response time. Very eager to make your stay the best.

Our stay at Karen and Bill's quaint studio was both fun and relaxing! The studio's loft has a beautiful view and outside we were surrounded by a garden/yard with many beautiful flowers to admire. The kitchen is very well prepared for cooking and was stocked with all kinds of breakfast items, fruits, snacks and delicious coffee for the morning. It was also a warm surprise to find homemade lemon/raisin scones when we arrived. They were so delicious. The home was decorated and cozy and had lots of organic soaps in the kitchen and bathroom. We spent three wonderful nights and plan to be back on our next visit to Anacortes. The host was so nice and accommodating. My husband and I will recommend Karen and Bill's place to our family and friends should they visit the town of Anacortes. Great spot, close to the beautiful quaint little town of Anacortes and close to Fidalgo Bay too!! The studio was super clean, had all we needed. It was really quiet during the day and night. Would definitely recommend

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. Thank you again.

Lisa’s place was wonderful! Absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean and only a short walk to the shore! Lisa was incredibly helpful with offering recommendations for hiking, beaches, etc. She was quick to respond to any messages I sent as well. The rental was exactly as advertised, private. It’s not easy to find great, pet-friendly places but she welcomed me and my dog, Kai! I stayed at Lisa’s place for 1.5 months as I’m on the island for work and she was very accommodating when I asked to stay a bit longer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Lisa’s place! Very hospitable!

Melanye’s place is the perfect spot for a quick and quiet getaway. The cottage is tucked back behind the owners residence and we didn’t hear a peep the three days we were there. The cottage itself is outstanding, with every amenity you could need or want for a short stay. Melanye is so thoughtful and the love and care she puts into her lodging is evident by the cleanliness and spotlessness of the room. It smells so fresh and clean. The bed is oh so comfortable with such cozy bedding and the bathroom was spotless with such a nice, relaxing shower with a rain shower head too. She had everything we needed there… including a steamer…because I didn’t bring an iron, so that was perfect! The coffee was delicious…and to top it all off, Melanye went out of her way to bake us THE MOST scrumptious raspberry crumble cookies I’ve ever tasted! This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and we’ll do every time we are up this way. Thank you again Melanye!!

Anna's place was lovely. It is a drive to any restaurants, but worth the quiet and peace of the environs.

We stayed there for 3 days. Good location for travelers who want to explore Deception pass. Clean, quiet, comfortable place for two persons.

Stunning views and cozy quarters! Our cabin had everything we needed, and the shared bathroom was close by and always open. The room was impeccably clean, had lots of coffee and tea, and fun restaurant recommendations.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay and enjoyed the very kind extra personal touches! We loved seeing all the hummingbirds and appreciated the fast responses to questions.

Lovely spot for a getaway! Note there is no beach access which I had presumed there was but otherwise as expected.

A great location in Oak Harbor, within 25 minutes of restaurants, Deception Pass State Park, beaches, and trails. It's a peaceful spot and the setup works well for friends or family traveling together. Lots of open space in the yard for a dog to enjoy too. We enjoyed a long weekend stay and recommend if you want to stay on the northern part of the island.

INCREDIBLE! If you’re looking for a private escape with gorgeous views and modern amenities, this is the spot. It’s not far from eclectic local towns, it’s far enough from the main house on the property—definitely feels private, and you can’t beat the sunsets. Rachael was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!!!

The studio is so clean and so charming. It is quiet, comfortable, and a place we enjoy coming to each time we visit.

I stayed three nights at Denis' place with my elderly parents and it was truly a home away from home. We were stunned by all of the amenities, especially the snacks (homemade lemon bars!). The restaurant guide was very helpful with personal recommendations. We visited Hillbottom Pie and it was everything Denis said it would be. We would have missed this incredible meal if it weren't for his recommendations. The property was absolutely gorgeous and very clean. Everything we could have asked for had already been thought of and taken care of. Thank you for a wonderful time, Denis. I will certainly book again the next time I am in the area.

Set in the middle of Skagit valley’s agricultural district, The Granary is positioned just on the edge of a field of waving tall grass providing a mesmerizing vista to look out on upon waking. The gently bleating from the goat penn just off the back deck periodically breaking the quiet sounds of farm life remind you to take a breath, and be present. Inside the well remodeled historic building is quaint and adorable, while feeling both clean and modern. Everything was excellent and hosts were outstanding. To note: The loft takes care to ascend/descend though it never felt unsafe, and the kitchen is not particularly robustly stocked but it had everything we needed for our short stay, including complimentary coffee/ creamer. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I would’ve spent the rest of our vacation here if we could! Karen is a superb host and such a lovely person. She met us at check in and was quick to answer any questions we had via text. Her home was incredibly inviting and cozy. Far enough out of the big cities but still a great spot to find some local restaurants and close to trailheads. She also left some breakfast items which was very helpful when we forgot a few things. If you’re a photographer and get lucky enough to see the auroras, text Karen and she’ll show you/tell you the spots to get the shot. She was even kind enough to lend me a tripod while we spent the nighttime hours waiting for the aurora. Don’t wait to book the Owl’s Nest!

Christie and Charles's place was a perfect retreat in peaceful surroundings. The cottage was spacious, bright, with comfortable layout and furniture. The books, decoration and supplies in the bathroom and kitchen made us feel right at home. The bed was super comfortable. Their hospitality and kindness was shown in many ways though we didn't meet them in person. After Christie heard I had a hiking injury before our arrival, she put an ice gel pack in the freezer for me to use. They communicated proactively and clearly, making us feel very welcome. We definitely want to stay here again when we visit the area.

Denise place was perfectly cleaned and maintained. All the details are thought out. The view from the hill to the ocean and beyond is simply stunning. Please note there is no WiFi and mobile internet as well as network connection in guest house. For those who are going to work from there and require internet access - not possible. Otherwise, it's an ideal quiet place to be alone with your thoughts and loved ones.

Beautiful place! Perfect for my visit with my son. I loved all the thoughtful extras like half and half in the refrigerator for my coffee. The towels and linens are high quality and plenty of cookware for making dinners. The heating floor in the bath felt amazing on the chilly mornings. I will definitely stay here again.

We had another lovely stay here. Love the location and close to all the things we like to do when we’re here. Being able to walk into town from there is a fun option on a lovely day. Janet is a very accommodating host. Look forward to our next visit.
