Holiday rentals with lake access in Wheeler Lake

This house is absolutely amazing! The neighborhood and location on the water are really great. The outside space has everything you need and the inside is just as perfect. There’s tons of space for larger groups and the two levels is perfect for high energy kiddos. We definitely want to come back!

The host Dave was very friendly and accomodating! It was very clean and the view was amazing.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Julie and her place! I am so glad we had this opportunity to get away and relax and unplug. I have NEVER seen an Airbnb so well stocked...I don't even know if my own home is this stocked! :) So cozy, clean, and comfy. We enjoyed the quiet privacy, the beautiful view, the paths around the home to hike and explore, and watching college football on the porch. Even used the wood-burning fire place!! It was about a 30 minute drive to Walmart in Cullman to get groceries and it IS a dry county, so if you want any kind of alcohol, it's good to go ahead and get it, as the place is fairly remote. There are some great little market type places within a 10-15 minute drive for snacks, etc. We really had everything we needed and then some. Julie has thought of everything and has things organized and even labeled!!! Loved it. It rained a lot, but we enjoyed just relaxing with the view more than anything. Ping pong was fun on the porch too! Fabulous getaway!

Jacob’s place was absolutely amazing. For a last minute decision to take a trip to the lake to meet up with a couple friends and escape away from our busy everyday life! Jacob’s place on the lake was 10000% very much what we needed! Everything we all needed to relax and have a good time. Fishing off the two story floating dock! To enjoying an early morning kayak that brought such a calming and soothing feeling to start off the day. All the way to big screen Roku tv perfect for getting cozy and watching Netflix movies right before hitting the comfortable beds! And not to mention the HOT TUB we all got to enjoy while watching some of our favorite music videos on YouTube on the tv while soaking up the massaging jets to relieve some tension and aches of our body from the jets! I am beyond happy with our stay here at Jacob’s place. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer even. But for now time to get back to our busy everyday life. But rest assured. We WILL be visiting again sometime! 😊😊😊

Mark was a great host. The house was just like it was described. The house is well cleaned and well stock. Mark was there our answer questions within hours. I recommend that everyone stay there

Beautiful property and well maintained. Exactly as described. We had a large party of 16 and this place was fantastic for our group. Furnished kitchen was a great plus. Home was very comfortable and had everything you could thing of. Very responsive to our inquiries and needs. Will definitely recommend this to all our friends.

Great stay for fishing tournament out of Smith Lake park. 3 teams of teenagers worked out great. We cooked one night had all utensils we needed. Great location and sleeping arrangements for the kids and adults worked out good for 9 people. Pool table was a hit . We had many tournaments on our stay. Very nice quick drive to park to launch boat. Only 10 min drive to the park. Very close to Walmart and restaurants if wanted to eat out. Defiantly have this place booked mark for next time we visit Smith Lake. Mrs. Liz was very responsive to text message or phone calls. Great person to work with.

I would definitely recommend this home to everyone. Beautiful home great host great location very clean and spacious. I could keep going on but you would just have to stay to appreciate.

Trevor was a great host and the place was as described and very clean. He made sure everything was in order for my stay. Place was very convenient for Smith Lewis Lake. It is a perfect place if you bring a boat as you are able to back right up to the door. We will certainly stay here when we come back to Smith Lewis.

Roy's apartment was wonderful! Great views of the lake, beautiful property, and very well appointed. I especially liked the chocolate treats on the counter!

The Airbnb was absolutely stunning, it had a home feeling to it. Beautiful scenery and amazing local architecture.

Love my stay

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was lovely. The view and access to the river were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. The location was a reasonable ride from the airport and close to our family in Florence. It was a great place for us to stay.

My family had a wonderful time. It was a a lovely place and the hosts were the best! The home was decorated with cute seasonal extras that really added to our holiday. It was stocked nicely and had snacks and water for us when we arrived. The area was very nice.

We stayed a week with our 2 dogs, meeting our son and his family there. The kids loved our water activities at the dock. They had no difficulty negotiating the steps or the paved trail. The house accommodated our 7 really well. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, fire pit and the views from the house and decks.

What a beautiful property. A peaceful and comfortable stay at a high end Airbb. Wish they could all be at this comfort level. Host was very accommodating. Location was good for visiting sites. Highly recommended!

Cute cottage and neighborhood by the river. House was cozy and comfortable. Didn't get to spend a lot of time there as we were there in the area to work. The surroundings were very peaceful and beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family's stay at Cottages # 1 and # 2. It was beautiful and peaceful. What a gorgeous setting! We were able to access the docks and rented a boat which we kept there overnight. As others have mentioned, there are 130 steps down to the dock from Cottage 1. Cottage 2's path to the other deck had less steps but you also have to walk on a rocky trail. Cottage 2's deck is covered. The only other issue at Cottage 1 was the steeper / gravel driveway, which has also been mentioned in a review. Cottage 2's driveway was level. It was okay for us because we had a truck with 4WD. We parked the sedan further up the hill. We didn't mind the walk to Cottage 1 or between the cottages, but an elderly person might. Otherwise, these 2 cottages were in a picture-perfect setting and we had great time there with our families, babies and dogs! Thank you!

This lovely home was perfect for our family of 4 (although it could easily sleep 6)It was well stocked with all the things. Surrounded by beauty and just what we needed in a extended weekend getaway. We plan to visit again.

Lee was a great host. Beautiful house on Shoal Creek. We were four buddies on a golf trip. Each of us commented on how perfect the house was. I would definitely stay at Lee's place if I find myself in the Muscle Shoals area again.

This place is just beautiful! It is so serene and not one detail was missed. Everything is perfectly clean, decorated and labeled. The beds and pillows were super comfortable too. It felt just like home to us! We really enjoyed our mornings on the porch watching the wildlife. We even saw deer and an adorable groundhog! Check in was a breeze with our great host! Would absolutely love to visit again and will definitely recommend to anyone we know heading to this area!
