Holiday rentals with breakfast in Wheeler Lake

If you are visiting a student at Sewanee on the mountain, this location is perfect. I really enjoyed the whimsy and color of Linda’s cottage.

a little tricky getting into the house due to a a wrong door code , but once we were in everything was perfect! Truly wonderful!

Was as described, in a walkable location to a few good restaurants (and one great one). Good value for the money. Master Suite bed had a very comfortable mattress.

We were only in town for a couple days and overnighted one night. The house was great and the space was very nice. The neighborhood had a classic, established feeling with older homes but many were being updated and renovated. With that said it was very quiet and I never heard any noise or disturbances of any kind. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future. Great house!

We do an event at the nearby park every year and this place was a gem to find. We were only there for a few hours, just long enough to get some Zs. However, when we opened up the fridge we saw fresh bread, eggs, and milk. I think they made it. Who does that? Super awesome. I gave all of the bread to all the volunteers who helped out at the race on the Fiery Gizz. They loved it. Thank you for a great place at a great price. Will be back in the years to come.

Lora and Billy offer a beautiful, spotless home in a convenient location. My family enjoyed staying here to attend my graduation at UNA. The home is located in a peaceful neighborhood with lots to do in the surrounding area. Lora and Billy were excellent hosts. We would love to stay here again!

This is an amazing place to stay. Clay is an outstanding host and also a multiple book author! The view of the Tennessee River from the living room never gets old! The kitchen is well stocked and he even provided a few fresh supplies for my stay. Even though this is just a room don't let that mislead you. You have the whole top floor which includes a kitchen, living room, dining room that you share with anyone else who might stay in the other room. You do have your own private bathroom. He lives below the space and has his own entrance. He gives you plenty of privacy. I always hope he has a room available when I'm in town because I would stay there every time.

This is a very cute, quaint, apartment. It was convenient for all of the activities we did. The host is quick to responsd and very kind. Definitely recommend!

Super convenient place to stay off the Natchez Trace Parkway. Danny is very easy to work with. This place has character! At first, I was a bit concerned about noise, as it’s right on Broadway, but it wasn’t an issue at all. Very easy to walk to shops and restaurants in town. There was even ice cold sparkling water in the fridge. Highly recommend!

Loved staying at this antebellum style home! Variety of antiques everywhere were interesting. Harlan was very friendly & made delicious breakfasts, including scratch biscuits. Loved the peaceful country setting, including deer, squirrels, birds & butterflies. Not far from town, where we enjoyed supper at Western Sirloin steakhouse. Mini fridge with waters, chocolates & flowers in room were very nice too! Harlan was so nice, he lit the firepit for us, but we didn’t get back in time to enjoy it. We enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs patio. Bed was comfy & shower pressure was good. His little fur baby Rocky was so sweet & cute too! Glad I found Harlan’s B & B on here! Easy to find & clear instructions to check in. Definitely recommend his place!

We loved our stay at The Secret and are glad it is no longer a secret! I will say that we might not choose the Treehouse cottage again because of the steps and the fact that there is no actual shower (only a jetted tub with a pull out shower head), but it was very cute and cozy and really did have a treehouse feel to it if that’s what you’re looking for. We loved the accessibility and friendliness of Charlie and Kris and loved the country/retro atmosphere and that it is pet friendly (the cottages). The pool was wonderful!! We definitely want to return!

We hope to come again. It was the most peaceful place, so breathtakingly beautiful. My boys loved the pool. The breakfast was fit for a king and queen. So good! Kris and Charlie went out of their way for our comfort. We love the Secret!!

Had a enjoyable relaxing stay. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and hearing the history of this beautiful farm. Shari and Dan were great hosts who made you feel right at home. I will definitely be back.

We rented the whole place for Sewanee Family Weekend. The house was enormous. The kitchen was well-appointed. All Saints is a five minute walk away. Susan and Greg were friendly and responsive.

Harlan was: A gentleman, cares for his guests, an interactive communicator, but also respectful of our privacy and peace. His place is clean, linens are clean and fresh. He fixes a wonderful breakfast! We would definitely stay with him again!

What a great place to stay after touring Jack Daniels Distillery. It’s private, the bed was really comfy, and you could feel the attention given to keep the history alive. Our favorite part was breakfast in the parlor. The hosts were very kind and we enjoyed every minute of it.

It was an awesome experience . History lovers should venture here . The breakfast was fabulous . Mostly for those who love clean eating . The history of the house and land was profoundly interesting . Waking up to the large windows has a sense you are back in time . Looking out to see the fog over the new growing lavender plants is majestic . The farm animals with the live working farm experience was an added bonus! Loved our stay . Will stay again .
